I watch Welcome to the Riley's a week ago. And I completely understand what she means when she said. If you look at a girl wrong, she wants to fight. This was a very deep role. Her portrayal of this character was amazing. It's funny how people kept saying she can't act but never watch those indies that she made. Kristen masters silence. Meaning she does not have to talk to make you feel. Her acting is all in her eyes when you can sense those emotions. Amazing!!
Her emotions are so strong, raw, deep and profound. If the audience can feel what she is portraying in a deep way, then that's where the success is. Instilling an emotional reaction in the beholder. Simply...amazing, a privilege to watch her.
Anyone who has an insult or has something bad to say about her, your saying these things about a person you don't even know therefore your judging her. She's shy, she's smart and she knows people judge but she doesn't care, so i think that's very brave and strong of her to do in the spot she is in.
Kristen Stewart really feels her characters, and lives their lives. That's what makes her one of the best actors, if not the best actor, I have ever seen!

She has the same acting style and is nothing short of brilliant. I respect, admire and idolize her and she doesnt deserve anything but pure prase for everything she has done in here life. I will stand up for her any day of the week because she truely is one of the greatest actors of our time :)
It doesn't sound strange to me to compare her to Johnny Depp at all, I've also heard her being compared to Marlon Brando and Heath Ledger. When I heard her being compared to male actors her acting style clicked for me more. I think people expect women to be more emotive so not everyone "gets" her acting style but esp when I read an article comparing her to Heath in Brokeback Mountain it really clicked for me that her strength is in what she holds back on screen most of the time. And then when she does "emote more" like in some of the scenes in this film it makes it all the more powerful to me.

She is a smar girl that know what she wants in her life, which is not seen in many actors today. She truly is unique and is an exdordinary person. :)
Guys!She is stuttering cuz if she says something that the paparazzi can twist the words it will be held against her!Like I bet she was in an interview and she said she wants kids,then the paparazzi was like Kristens pregnant!!!!Thats why she is just choosing her words carefully so please dont give her grief...
That's crazy, I've seen little snippets of her saying that quote about flying across the room & killing someone for looking at a girl wrong so many xs and for some reason I always thought it had to do with The Runaways. But it makes more sense that it would be associated with this film. I just watched WTTR recently and absolutely loved it . Such wonderful acting from James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart and Melissa Leo. This was a great interview as well. I used to dance (just dance, not the other stuff Mallory did) and there are certain things about those types of jobs that attract different types of women but for many, myself included, there is a kind of pain & reliving of trauma that attracts women to it and I felt I saw that in Mallory and in the way Kristen played her.

I think she is nervous when she gives interviews. I mean she stutters, always touches some parts of her body and doesn't really look into the eyes of the reporter.
I thought she had her hair cut short, didnt see she tied it to the back..lol cuz i like her hair short like when she was in flightplan.. btw, that's probly my fav movie of her, cuz i just couldnt see her in the twilight saga, dont know why.. probly becuz she is far better than her character in twilight.. sorry people, didnt mean to be rude to you the twilight fans =)

@Marianag812 i actually didnt think the cake eaters was a stupid movie..the plot did drag just a bit..but it did get me because of the dynamic between georgia and beagle..they were just two broken ppl who found something in each other...it was sweet

I'm like that too, it's the way my brain works, my thoughts come very quickly and often there's more than one at once so I'll be saying one thing & the new thought will come in & I'll switch to that without finishing the original thought. I imagine it's something similar with her. I also suffer from anxiety and get anxious speaking in front of people which she seems to as well so I very much relate to her in both those ways. She's clearly very intelligent and introspective though, you can hear it in how she speaks.

People can't judge her from Twilight alone. Bella wasn't the most exciting or deep character ever and so there wasn't much Kristen could do with it.
