Its nice to know that youve been in ACN. Since you are rendering, i assume you already have a job offer.. Congrats! Pero if wala ka pa work, dont worry.. Madali ka naman makakahanap lalo na you came from ACN.
A piece of advice,
1. Learn to know your worth in our field.
2. If you are to choose between career growth and salary, always choose career growth. Ung salary, it will follow if you have the skills and experience already. If you can have both, then good.
3. If you are to ask rate on your next company, itodo mo na (if you think you have the skills). 😅 Kasi sabi nga nila... ung annual increase minsan maliit na lang.
4. Never burn bridges. 😉
5. Lastly, always be GRATEFUL. 🙏

Currently I'm an intern po and I'm an infra eng. intern but I wanted to be a software test engineer makakatulong po kaya yung experience ko from infra when applying as a software test engineer? Hello ung infra kasi is completely different from being soft test eng. Pero don't worry meron naman mga companies na naghahire kahit walang experience as QA. :)

Hi Regina, kapatid ng husband ko com eng din and on the same field. If fresh grad, wala naman masyado qualifications needed. Basta you speak confidently and you know what to say. Thesis is also one of the questions asked, kung anong contribution mo nung nagthethesis kayo. 😊
I conduct interviews too pero most likely nagbebased ako on how confident the applicant is and the attitude. Kasi ung skills, natuturo naman yan. ❤️

hi im currently a support in accenture for 11 months now and now I have an offer at amdocs with higher pay and a developer role. Should I stay at accenture in the role support or grab the opportunity as a developer?

First, can you give me more details on the following?
(1) What is your current role in Accenture? Are you a tech support where-in you solve tickets within SLA? Meaning, you still code?
(2) Which of the company pays higher? When I say higher, do not look on the offered salary but include as well the benefits you'll get (such as but not limited to VLs, SLs, Allowance).

I am currently an ASE. My bootcamp was for a developer role. Then I was assigned to a tech support role when i got rolled into my current project. And here in my project part of my role is to handle and solve tickets. I am also involved with minor changes for development of applications and automation testing for web applications.
When it comes to the benefits and allowance Amdocs is on par with ACN the only difference is the coverage for the HMO( maxicare for ACN worth 400k and Intlicare for amdocs worth 200k).
My fear is that there will be limited opportunities if I stay on a support role and that my skills are not really focused on one. I feel like I'm becoming a jack of all trades master of none.
@@cedrickcruz4248 If I am on the same position, and both companies almost offer the same... I would rather choose the company that would help me career wise. Based from what I see, you really wanted to grow as a developer and you are looking forward for more opportunities on that area. My take, choose Amdocs since they are offering a developer role.
But please take note, Automation testing is also not a bad path. It is also a high paying Job. "Automation Testers" and "Developers" are both dev, since you guys both do the coding. What I can suggest, talk to your manager and set your expectations. Kasi mukhang di defined ung role mo, because you are doing tech support and automation tester too.
Lastly, if you are not happy on your current role then leave. Sabi nga nila, sometimes you need to step outside and get some air. Remind yourself of who you are and what you really want to be. ;)

@@KiyePoyVlogs Hi maam, just an update I talked to my managers and I was convinced to stay. They said that if I got promoted the increase will be higher compared to the offer of amdocs. I dont know if thats a trap but I guess I just have to wait and see haha. I also chose to stay to hone my skills more and earn certifications so that when I leave the offer will be much higher. They also mentioned that roll off and retool can be an option in the next years to come. I'll just stay for a while like for a year so that the next hiring managers will not question why I dont last in a company. Thanks for the insights!

As for the location of Accenture, madami sila actually. Depende kung saang project ka ma-aassign. They have sa mandaluyong, sa BGC, Makati and Eastwood.

Hello, apologies for the late reply. Just do your best and be yourself. Normally interviewers are looking at attitude kasi most of us believe na the skills can be learned pero ung attitude, medyo mahirap yan. Make sure na you sell yourself very well din. Meaning, look at the JD and assess what skills can you tell them na meron ka para ihire ka nila. Kaya mo yaaaan! :)

Hi.. you can actually apply po kahit no experience in Software Test Engineer as they provide trainings naman before they deploy you sa projects. You just have to look for companies na ganon. :)

Usually it depends. Meron naman na okay ka work. The struggle lang talaga usually is the way they speak, masyadong mabilis. Parang buffering pa ung utak ko. 😂
