- I started working on this 2 months ago and it is finally done!! I really hope it was worth it lmao. I felt like this song really fit the situation c!ranboo is in at the moment. Plus using the Caleb Hyles version I think helped the general tone of the animatic and Ranboo :D
Anyway hope someone revives the Ranman soon, cause the lad is suffering hahaaa (I miss beeduo lore)

Two headcannons!
1. Ghostboo at first had the hood down, but he realized the reactions other people have when seeing him affect ranboo (as in avoiding him and making ranboo sad) so ghostboo put the hood up.
2. Ghostboo enjoyed aimsey’s presence because it made ranboo happy. (Ghostboo wants to make ranboo happy if it’s the last thing he does)

@@emberwolfanimations6603 c! is for character! I referred to Ranboo as “c!Ranboo” because there are two Ranboo’s in the animatic, one is character!Ranboo and the other is Ghostboo, I just find it easier to call him c!Ranboo instead of just saying “Ranboo” and potentially confusing the two :-)

Dude, Ranboo's death happened a while ago and I'm still crying about it. This got tears rolling down my cheeks. This beautiful, I love the part when the waves in Ranboo's limbo get large and more aggressive as his emotions got stronger.

Also, my theory with the ending:
Remember when Ranboo said that once the part that feels (them in limbo) takes too much pain there’s no way to be revived? I think that’s what happened but I’m not entirely sure
Again that’s just my interpretation of the ending
Edit: changed the pronouns when talking about c!Ranboo. Forgot cc!Ranboo confirmed that they were non-binary (hey, he confirmed this more recently. I’m usually really good with pronouns and such but I forgot just this once)

I feel so bad for Ranboo/Ghostboo they think nobody cares but it’s just people can’t unsee Ranboo that they knew before and it’s hard for them to accept it

This just brings me back to how bad I feel for Ranboo and I love the way you portray his limbo. The song also goes beautifully since Ranboo at the time is believing that nobody cares about him or he would have been revived by now. Now excuse me as I go cry.
That and when he died Dream was literally saying he didn’t care about Ranboo and all of his friends except for Technoblade left him to die.

Everyone already said this but I'm crying man, this hurt like hell. Especially because I associate this song with the dream smp not being streamed very much anymore and the fact that Ranboo and Tubbo barely stream together anymore..
Tubbo has been busy with TubNet, and they got shipped too much. If people stop shipping them too much then we can get the duo back

This was so... incredible. All the details, the expressions, the way the ocean waves of limbo reacted to Ranboo's intense emotions... I felt that. I loved how you interpreted Ranboo/Ghostboo's lore, and I don't think anyone could have done it better.
One thing I liked about the Ghosts in the DSMP was that they were portrayed as different characters, not as the ghost of a character who died. You encompassed that feeling beautifully

I’ve been relating this song to c!Ranboo for so long so this really hurt in the sense you got it perfectly. Your expressions omggg and I love the little frame where ghostboo tries to give Phil the flower. And the one where he gets stabbed dude the composition and colors have such an impact!!

i actually have this on loop. i love ranboo's limbo and how he sits on a single grass block in a never-ending ocean. Caleb Hyles' voice just goes so well with the emotions and i almost cried at the part where the song goes "she doesnt exist now. survived by her son. and all of her brand-new friends." and that part right after in his limbo? oh my god this is so so good derseves way more views

Lovely work! Great job with the compositions and expressions. The touch with the waves growing more dramatic as the animatic went on is a great touch. Love how the block Ranboo was on was a grass block, as it is a nod to his silk touch hands. (Even if unintentional.) Great work!

the entire animation is amazing, very smooth, and well-made. The character designs are amazing, I especially liked Eret's and Ranboo's, but they were all very pretty and fitting for the characters. I can tell this took a lot of time and effort, and as someone who does art, I know that it was probably hell, so be proud of yourself. You made a lovely animation! Be safe, have a wonderful day/night, and just take a moment to look at all you've done and how amazing it is.
Literally crying, this is a masterpiece, inspired me to draw fanart now (i always draw fanart but last few months i had no motivation or ideas for a drawing so ty) , and portrayed the pain and suffering c!ranboo is going through. I'm going get into that now.😁👍

This really got me I was in tears, I haven't really a lot of people animate with this song it really hits the spot.
Steven universe is one of my favorite shows and somebody using a song from it in a dsmp animatic makes me insanely happy. you used the tone and mood of the song/cover well in the animatic, with the expressions, body language, and colors! I really loved ranboos limbo too, it portrayed being stuck and not being able to do anything about it, since ranboo can't touch water. art from talented people like you always make me motivated when I don't have any motivation! this is honestly really great and this is getting put onto my amazing animations playlist :)

This is such a great animatic worth the body jesters and face expressions. I remember being on technos stream when Ranboo was killed so this is very nostalgic. BUT THE SOUNF AND EVERYTHING JUST WAS A MASTERPIECE TO SEE ALL TOGETHER!!!
The part where it shows the picture of Ranboo, Tubbo and Michael but with Ranboo covered by a curtain almost made me tear up.
