  • hi! My name is Mikael and I felt led to post this video and be a voice for Jesus Christ. He is calling His sheep to prepare for his Coming. (my video did not turn out very clear, sorry about the poor quality.. but I felt so strongly to post this anyway).
Words from our Prophet (when he was an apostle in 2016)- Full talk www.lds.org/me...
"Expect and prepare to accomplish the impossible. God has always asked His covenant children to do difficult things. Because you are covenant-keeping sons and daughters of God, living in the latter part of the latter days, the Lord will ask you to do difficult things. You can count on it--Abrahamic tests did not stop with Abraham….
As a true millennial whom the Lord can count on, you will make history too! You will be asked to accept challenging assignments and become an instrument in the Lord's hands. And He will enable you to accomplish the impossible. How will you accomplish the impossible? By doing whatever it takes to strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ, by increasing your understanding of the doctrine taught in His restored Church, and by relentlessly seeking truth.
As a true millennial, anchored in pure doctrine, when you are asked to do impossible things, you will be able to step forward with faith and dogged persistence and cheerfully do all that lies in your power to fulfill the purposes of the Lord. You will have days when you will be thoroughly discouraged. So pray for courage not to give up!
You will need that strength because it will become less and less popular to be a Latter-day Saint. Sadly, some whom you thought were your friends will betray you. And some things will simply seem unfair. However, I promise you that as you follow Jesus Christ, you will find sustained peace and true joy. As you keep your covenants with increasing precision, and as you defend the Church and the kingdom of God on the earth today, the Lord will bless you with strength and wisdom to accomplish the impossible. …
My beloved brothers and sisters, you were born to be true millennials! You are a chosen generation, fore-determined by God to do a remarkable work--to help prepare the people of this world for the Second Coming of the Lord. "

I had been telling my husband for months that I felt like I'm supposed to be doing something but I didn't know what it was. It was like somebody was knocking but I didn't know which door to open! It has always been in my heart to homeschool since my first went to school in 2014 but I just didn't know how. Because of Covid-19 , we are deciding to homeschool and I've purchased a curriculum and have been pretty gung ho and committed to this mission and researching how to do this with multiples! One day out of the blue I realized that the looming feeling was gone. I now feel I am fulfilling my purpose of homeschooling! So thankful to have stumbled across your channel and many others who have been instrumental in guiding me along this journey.

Every word you said has been on my heart for years now! When I got rid of my distractions, I was able to hear His voice clearly telling me that homeschool was what my family needed.... what I needed. More time for prayers, more time for scripture study, more time to listen to the Spirit and more time to just be Holy. I wrote a list of 10 reasons we homeschool and not one is so we can be smarter...... but to be stronger in our relationship with Christ. I could talk about this for hours and hours. I am grateful for you testimony, it strengthens mine!

I appreciated this so much. The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me in a similar way. I’m not LDS but I love Jesus and I know that the Lord has us in a season of preparation. This made me think of Nehemiah chapter 4 verse 14, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” ❤️

I was called to homeschool my children too. I've been a homeschool teacher mom for 2 years. I was thinking about putting them back into public school this year. Because I felt like I couldn't manage being a homeschool teacher mom. But the Spirit of the Lord has told me, don't do put them in public but homeschool your children. So I will be homeschooling again this year again. Please pray that I can be a great organized and manage homeschool mom with a lot of patience. To prepare my children and me and my hubby for the Army of the Lord.

I am in my 17th year homeschooling my children and every year I get that little feeling of- am I doing enough? Should i put them in public school? Etc etc.- then as I pray the spirit confirms time and time again- and never gets impatient with me- that what i'm doing is what Heavenly Father wants for my children specifically. If for some reason they are struggling with a subject and I think oh if they were in public school theb they wouldn't be struggling- I remember the strong confirmation ive received year after year and I switch things up in that subject to something different that might help them catch on easier etc and I remember that every single child is unique! I will be praying for you! Don't forget it's ok to try stomething new or ti take a little family mental health day or week and just enjoy each other! That's one of the best parts about homeschooling! ❤

I remember having a similar conversation (although not as beautifully stated) with my mother in law. Yes it is very important to be educated. Pres Hinckley said to get as much education as you can. So that is a clear value for our home. It is also infinitely important that they are ready for Christ to come again. So important to me to raise children who know Christ and preach of Christ and rejoice in Christ. Thank you for sharing this. I feel a renewed determination to keep my focus and maybe tweak it a little bit so that He is the center of our homeschool.

Oh My Word....... “these are the times, these are the days” is what the spirit has been telling me also, I was personally led to homeschool 1- for the frustration of common core and 2nd- because I KNEW without a doubt we were in the end times, I see the signs every single day. And I heard the lord tell me “teach your children at home where it can be Christ centered, their eternity depends on it” 👀 talk about a big responsibility! I had never once thought I’d ever homeschool, my patience is thin, I suffer from depression, anxiety, busy trying to get our preparations in order the way the spirit is guiding me to prepare our family, my husband recently got a new job with a huge pay cut and it’s been a real financial struggle so.... It seemed like a huge request on my plate... but BOY have I seen miracles, I’m still struggling, have much to learn and work through, but man... it got to a point where the thought would NOT leave my mind to homeschool. that one day I felt almost a loud spiritual prompting that said “bring your children home now!” And I literally called the school right then and said “today will be their last day” and I immediately felt so warm inside. Thank you for this video, seriously, TRULY. It’s so nice to see others are hearing this prompting that while basic education is important, God is telling us he is MOST important in these little ones lives 🙌🏼❤️

I completely support what you said about feeling like you were being led and called to homeschool. When our youngest was born, I felt a STRONG impression that homeschooling needed to be something we did. We have been so blessed to be able to homeschool this child from the very beginning. Our other children are gradually moving to homeschooling as well. The timing is based on when the Lord prompts and directs us to it. It has been SUCH a blessing.

Miry Russell, Day two, and we’re loving it so far! I’m so glad I went by the recommended level placement, because my daughter really needed Level K Primer in Language Arts. I got the next level just in case we went too fast, but it seems to be just right. The level K math, however, is very simplified. I’m hoping it gets harder soon, because she’s already getting bored, and the next level hasn’t been released yet! I felt so, so strongly that this math was designed for her, so I just got it, even though she has a more advanced comprehension. Jenny Phillips recently made an announcement that she has hired more Math authors to try to get the levels out more quickly. We’re trying to be patient!

Mikael, I feel so blessed with your testimony. Your kiddos are so blessed for having a mom like you. You are an inspiration for so many moms out there who are trying to homeschool their kids. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints for 27 years. I am from Brazil and have been living in U.S. for about 10 years now. I have 2 beautiful daughters who I also have felt, strongly, the prompts of the Holy Ghost to homeschool. Last year, my oldest started kindergarten at the public school, but I KNEW that that wasn't what the Lord wanted for her. After 3 months of rushing in the morning to get to school in time, and making sure that every evening the homework was done, and all the evening routine until bedtime.... we basically had no time to bond, to study the scriptures, and so on. My child became afraid of making (school) mistakes because, obviously, someone told her that if she didn't learn whatever was being taught she wasn't going to make to first grade :o. Seeing my girl's confidence decreasing was an awake up call for me to do what the Lord had told me from the beginning. I felt so much more peaceful after we've decided to withdraw her from the public school. However, it was a long process to adjust and learn how to homeschool. Because of this, I have to say the Lord used you to bless my life as a homeschool mom. When the Lord calls the Lord calls! Therefore, after watching a couple videos where you beautifully bear your testimony (making me cry :) about preparing your kids to meet the Savior Jesus Christ, I felt the prompt to write this comment. I do have a very, very special call to take my kids to be taught by the Savior Jesus Christ, and after watching the Prophet, President Nelson, literally "call" all of us to prepare, especially the youth, for this glorious event that will be the second coming of Christ, I as well, felt that it's very close for us to meet Him again. I love my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ, and my children, therefore I homeschool. So my babies can learn, believe, and serve the Savior, and homeschooling had made this possible! Mikael, we never have met, but want to say that I already love you, my sister!

The Lord prompted me with 1 child first, like you, and the first day we started her homeschool I heard "your kids need to be home with you". ALL my kids. I then took them all home. Start with one, and that will give you the strength to bring them all home. because once you have one Child home and you see and feel the difference, you won't be able to send your other kids to school because your eyes, your home, and your hearts will change in beautiful. It's so easy to get caught up in all of curriculums and coops especially for us newbies. Like I heard at a Classical Conversations homeschooling practicum a few weeks back, the Lord uses homeschooling/education as an excuse to get us to disciple our children at home.

If this is true then how come all LDS parents dont feel called to homeschool? I'm LDS and I homeschool but I've never done it for religious reasons..I'm in Australia and homeschooling is not common here..so are you saying only LDS in the US are being called? I just don't buy it. You can still preserve your children sending them to public school. Is Gods's army only available to a select few LDS people who are called? Homeschooling is a valid method of educating children but I don't believe for one minute its the way God prefers. Some countries its illegal to homeschool..so what about those LDS people. Not homeschooling doesn't mean you are less faithful.

Samantha Murray yes very true! I am not feeling the call and I have prayed and prayed and gone to the temple and the Lord said no school is the best thing for her right now. Doesn’t mean my answer is wrong or the Lord is leading me astray, it just isn’t the time. Maybe later, but I am also hoping to have her be an amazing influence in the public school setting. I am still protecting her and she’s young, right now public school is what she is doing.

Samantha Murray and although I don’t feel the need to homeschool I do feel that what she is saying about the preparation for the Lord is happening now is true. We do make that a priority in our family with scripture time and prayer and teaching her about Christ.

Samantha Murray I don’t think that’s at all what she said. She stated from the beginning that it pertained to HER family.

Samantha Murray please forgive me for anything that might have been taken the wrong way. I only mean to share light. My message was for ALL of God’s children who have ears to hear, whose hearts are open, who are eagerly awaiting Christ return (lds and non lds). The Lord called on my family , and to prepare my family and me this was the way. The way for my family. ... the spirit told me this message was for someone that needed to hear it, so I obeyed and posted it. - much love. M
