I love meeting like minded ladies! I homeschooled for a few years on my own in Arizona and then a few miracles happened and my sister ended up moving near me. Little by little we (Heavenly Father and I) ended up convincing her to homeschool too. I am a huge advocate of homeschooling. I have learned not to force my opinion, but if someone asks me about it I basically have a presentation that I share that I practice in the shower. LOL! Thanks for being bold!
Hi Mikael! I wanted to tell you that the Lord led me to your Instagram page, then subsequently to this CZcams channel about 4 months ago. At that time, I was sort of in-active. I was attending other churches desperate to hear the voice of the Lord. When I heard you speak, you spoke the words of my heart and the spirit confirmed to me that this is where I need to be- with women like you. I also have been homeschooling my 6 children for years and your inspired heavenly curriculum led me to partner with the Lord to totally reconstruct from the foundation up our whole homeschool atmosphere, routine, purpose and vision. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. After conference you were on my heart really strongly. I prayed for you and I told the lord how I miss hearing deep heart passionate truth from other moms/homeschoolers like you. I woke up the next morning to this new video that was posted 7 hours ago! HA! God is so good. Thank you for heeding the promptings of the Spirit. I also had a very similar experience last month as for a moment I looked around at the women listening to the sacrament talks and I felt their anxieties, sadness and loneliness deep within me. I was really really worried at first but I knew that the Lord wanted me to pray for them and because of that experience they feel more akin to my heart then they did before. Us women started gathering at the chapel once a week, aside from church activities, with our children since then to just be together. The children play and us women either do zumba or make a healthy smoothy and sit and talk about heavenly things. You are so right, if striving to live the gospel qualifies us to sit down with this caliber of women, every hardship is worth it.

Absolutely needed to hear this message today. I live in Virginia. All of my family lives in the west. I would say my biggest trial in life right now is feeling alone. Alone in a Homeschooling, alone in my feelings of urgency to prepare for the return of Christ and alone in recognizing fulfillment of prophecy all around me. It truly is such a blessing to connect with other women who see and feel the same things. What a comforting thought that someday soon, we will be surrounded by like-minded women and feel united. You are not alone! I feel the same way, I live in Utah and I’m the only one I know who homeschools nearby me. I often feel the same as you! I hope I can be a teacher in Zion someday.

Nina, we totally are the only ones on the planet that don't give their kids smart phones it seems like. ALL my seminary students have them, it is a tool that quickly destroys their spirit. I liken smart phones to parents funding a heroine addiction for their own child, it is that destructive. wake up parents!!!.
Great timing! I came back to CZcams to rewatch a lot of your older videos and have found some strength…and now a new one! What a treat. I have certainly felt the lonely road of discipleship and long to be gathered in and counted as a “certain women”. And it is beautiful to catch glimpses of others doing the same, even if through the internet! 😉 I wish I could sit and have lunch with you someday. So grateful for what you share. Thanks for coming back and sharing that message! I went to that conference and it was so great to meet you and be there among the few. I was there with my friend that lives there in that area. We were the ones that were friends since we were 14. She doesn’t homeschool, but I know she wants to. I’m glad she came with me to have her heart stirred. I have been homeschooling for 6 years now. We did live in Georgia and now we live in Utah. And it seems like as soon as I find a friend who is like minded, we are separated by a move or what not and I find myself alone yet again. So It touched my heart that us “certain women” are being scattered. I find comfort in that…that it is for a purpose. Being alone allows me to lean on the lord and be strengthened through him. As we drove home from the conference I was bombarded by some texts and the adversary. Being on my spiritual high from that weekend, I was able to have the strength to have courage in some decisions I had to make. And I will continue to do so because I want nothing more than to be gathered with my sisters in Christ in Zion. I also LOVED general conference and will go back and listen to that one that you pointed out. Your words or shall I say that message of the Lord you share brings me comfort and strength.
ok, you both were just the most BEAUTIFUL woman ever!!! My daughter said "mom, they are so pretty". You both had light in your eyes and a zeal about you. I so badly wanted to stay and talk for hours and hours, it was hard to leave.. I also had satan be a total stinker for days and days after the conference, so hearing our prophet declare that we need to CAST SATAN OUT was incredible! it is time we be bold and use our power to command satan to leave! we must do this daily! I teared up, this is exactly how I've been feeling, lonely and like I'm one of very, very few in our faith who are still in our faith (if that even makes sense) and then homeschooling to makes me feel even more lonely! HI! I have really missed you. ha! I dont know you, but i feel like i should. ha! Thank you so much for your beautiful message. I have drawn strength from you for the past few years when we started homeschooling 2 years ago and trying to leave all the garbage of the world behind us. I am sure you dont remember, but I asked you about how to deal with my 6yr old boy and how to help him engage in learning with eachother etc (aka him and i were not really listening to eachother) and you answered my question before you went on a vacation. SO sweet of you. Thank you! I was just about to write you back, because it took this long to see the results of me following the spirit directing me what to do! It was electronics! Just too much in our brain from all the screens crap! Ofcourse! I got rid of them mostly, and he and the rest of my family (7kids) feel so much better. To be honest, It makes me a little nervous cleansing my home even more of the worldly things, i dont think i have much more, but with this journey, i am finding the Lord knows what i need to get out of my house and i need to obey. You give me, and most certainly all who hears your voice, the strength to just do it, even when we are scared to obey. Certain women. Amazing. Thank you! That is the message I needed and the exact message to spread. I am in Young Women in my ward and have teens as well and my college girls are home for the weekend and what an amazing message to spread with hugs and tears. Thank you. My 14yr old girl, that has been homeschooling, and i were at mutual and listening to all the things going on in schools here in IDAHO and all the struggles our youth are going through and we came home and she hugged me and tearly told me thank you so much for following the Lord to homeschool her and her siblings. He always leads me higher and higher , and we are always happier when we follow Him. So glad you are back! My oldest is only 18 months old, but I have been watching your videos for years now. A decade ago I would have said all the things you did before you started homeschooling your children and few years ago I started finding moms that homeschool on social media. I started seeing the benefits to homeschooling especially when it comes to preparing children to get on and stay on the covenant path. Thank you for being so open and honest from where you started to where you are now. The Lord is clearly using you to give courage to His "certain women".

I was going to do dishes and was debating which youtube video to watch. While picking up my phone the thought check Monson School House popped in my mind! So glad I did. I love all your heart felt, God inspired videos. I also go back and watch your homeschool ones as well. Thank you for sharing. I too feel alone, am homeschooling, and that I have so much to prepare for. I find myself going to the Lord and scriptures more when life starts to feel to heavy for me to handle. I was just talking with another member (he is in his 80's) that called me last night. I have known him since a child while talking I explained a few hard times I had as a teen. I could tell he was sad with what happened. I told him that what happened made me the woman I am today so it all worked out just fine. I think the same is true here. We may be going through the trenches yet on the other side we will be able to look back and be proud of who we are and what we accomplished.

So glad to see you back! I wish I could’ve gone to that conference, I’m needing more community support. My daughter is going through major anxiety and anger and it is such a strain on my heart, can anyone relate? We are getting her all the help we can but it is so hard to have her so angry from first thing in the morning until bedtime. President Nelson’s plea to remove contention from our homes is heavy on my heart. But I know I can do this through Christ because he is the one who called me to homeschool. Thank you for being a light to us!

I cannot possibly understand it all from just your small message, but I felt to share what I heard from President Nelson's address like 5 times: He said, "Moses quickly realized who Satan was and commanded him to depart.When Satan persisted, Moses knew how to call upon God for more help. Moses received divine strength and rebuked the evil one again, saying, “Depart from me, Satan, for this one God only will I worship.” We should follow that example. Cast Satan’s influence out of your life! " JESUS and HIS MIGHTY POWER is the only way! So glad to see you back! I wish I could’ve gone to that conference, I’m needing more community support. My daughter is going through major anxiety and anger and it is such a strain on my heart, can anyone relate? We are getting her all the help we can but it is so hard to have her so angry from first thing in the morning until bedtime. President Nelson’s plea to remove contention from our homes is heavy on my heart. But I know I can do this through Christ because he is the one who called me to homeschool. Thank you for being a light to us!
Amy, I am so sorry about your daughter! I cannot possibly understand it all from just your small message, but I felt to share what I heard from President Nelson's address like 5 times:
He said,
"Moses quickly realized who Satan was and commanded him to depart.When Satan persisted, Moses knew how to call upon God for more help. Moses received divine strength and rebuked the evil one again, saying, “Depart from me, Satan, for this one God only will I worship.”
We should follow that example. Cast Satan’s influence out of your life! "
JESUS and HIS MIGHTY POWER is the only way! I know through Him and the faith that you hold as a mighty mother GOD WILL PREVAIL and your daughter's soul will be healed.
