That's awesome and to me that's definitely a big canvas, it should work fine actually the circuses used to do the same thing, except they would paint sort of advertisements. The only problem I could see is cracking if it was taken down and rolled up or something. To get is smooth you could use a sander with fine grit before you gesso. Much love ❤️ 🙏
