@@QuintessentialWalrus I just saw this for the first time on a reddit and (pinch of salt) they basically said that it looks the grapes were displayed on metal wires, not vines, in that booth.
The light at the top of the booth may have been shorted to the wires.
When the reporter grabs the grapes, he also grabs the metal wire, so the electricity travels through him to go down the microphone wire to ground.
Basically it goes: Lamp>Wire>Right-hand>Chest(Heart)>Left-hand>Microphone>Ground

the idea of romanticizing a "middle-of-nowhere store" isnt that uncommon, actually. in our heads, at least atp in our society, they represent a rest-stop, a break from the burden of travelling. resupply, refuel, sit and relax for a while. romanticizing that respite in the middle of all the chaos is a lot more common than you might think, especially during times like these. i certainly wish there was some convenience store outside of time i could buy a soda at.

That's not at all the psychology if you ask me. They represent being alone in the middle of nowhere with supplies. I'd like to work there cause I want a break from the city, the constant back and forth between people and having to interact with them all the time. Traveling breaks have nothing to do with it.

Was really expecting this to be played off semi-seriously, with the killer being a guy who intentionally clogs the toilets of late-night businesses so he can come back and kill the clerks while they're distracted unclogging it.
This makes sense cause Vinny is known for his Mario and Luigi skits, and they ARE Plumbers!
