You know im just gonna go ahead and say it: The Hive is DEAD, alright? Fight me.
If you don't know, the hive is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition server which USED to carry 25,000-35,000 players every single day. Now they range around 18,000 players a day if LUCKY.
Many Hive CZcamsrs and the community itself have been arguing about the fact that the Hive is actually dead. Most of the community usually defends the fact of hives downfall by exclaiming that 17,000 players a day is still vErY aCtIVe. Which I'm not arguing against completely. But if you compare the Hive's player status from 2020 to now, it's blatant that the hive is not what it used to be.
Hive CZcamsrs also bounce back to the allegations by saying: “Well, the next Hive update will for sure change the Hive for good. It will bring so many old players back.” Which is funny considering the fact that they all thought Arcade and Gravity would revive the hive. Even with gravity being Hive’s most recent gamemode addition, it's already falling off, bringing only 100-250 players daily. On top of all of this, the community itself is just full of toxic-no lifes that are too afraid to touch grass.
And now you may be thinking: why should I trust a child with only a few lousy statistics to back up his reasoning. Why trust me when I say the hive is dead? Well aCcoRDiNg tO mY CAlCUlaTioNS, I am not the only one thinking the hive is no longer enjoyable. Dozens, maybe even hundreds of Hive creators have hit the same save and quit button for good. These faces include; Mj_Owns_u, Cmanwizard, Crafted Manny, IgnacioBlade, Deezee, Jakester, and soon to be Evident who is slowly drifting away from Hive content. The point is that more and more creators and just overall players are leaving the community every single day.
Now, if I had to give the Hive advice on how to make the server great again, I'd tell them to just [black text overlay] give up.
I know that sounds tough but hear me out. The Hive will never hit their peak player count ever again but it might not be their fault. 2020 aka mid pandemic was the time where most of the community joined the chaotic server. And obviously more and more people started to have additional time on their hands for some reason. But once the world started to become collected again, people had to get back to their jobs and their education. This partially resulted in the Hive’s downfall.
Another thing you have to keep in mind is that most of us were very young when we joined the Hive back in 2020. Now, in mid-2023, we are just simply older and enjoy other activities.
Now i'm not saying the Hive should just stop updating. I think the active players they have right now will stay for a while as long as they keep updating.
Keep in mind this is only my personal opinion and you are not being forced to agree with me.

I agree with you 100% we have just grown up, I remember back in 2019-2020 me and all my friends would hop on the hive every day and play in non sweaty lobby’s, but now we’re all in highschool and we’ve grown apart from it
this is not just an hive issue, same has been happening with Hypixel, long gone are the days where hypixel skywars/bedwras content could get hundreds of thousands of views.... it's just not the same anymore.
I'm an old player and I'm coming back but the reason I left was the player base. I was just trying to have fun with my friend after school everyday but after a while everyone just became sweaty out of nowhere like how
The Hive's peak during 2019 is the same as today (No one was like "oH No HIvE iS DYing" during that time), so i wouldn't say The Hive is "dead" or it is facing its "downfall", it's just also Minecraft facing its low peak since everyone is touching grass again. I also think that the Hive has a chance to peak in those massive numbers in the future during Minecraft's "new" revival that could occur once again in the future
I agree with all of this from another point of view I have. But 2020 was hives peak, not 2019. 2020 was when they broke their player count record and was when the pandemic arose. And their peak is not even close to the same as today. They used to average 30,000 players a day. Now they average 18,000.

The Hive has been dying. I go on there every now and then and I see most games not even reaching 2k Players! I tried to go back and play games but they aren’t as fun as they used to be.
2k is still decently good, but I can agree

tbh i agree i started playing hive in the 2019 and stopped in 2022 and temporally played in 2023 and stopped playing again it got boring.

At this point players have became so sweaty i cant even have making content on the hive. No one can have fun like in 2020 they all have to be competitive and its getting ridiculous

Yeah. Many players despise survival games and see it as a bad game that nobody plays. Yet there are so many players that love the game that I don't think the hive sees or cares about.

Hive needs to focus on making more games instead of working on hubs that are meaningless
Although I love the new hive hub, I can agree with u. Hive needs to give up making more and more cosmetics and rather focus almost all their attention on new gamemodes. We dont need useless gamemode updates like deathrun and hide and seek.
I don’t really know where in stand on this argument because last night me and my friends just had a spark of urgency to play the hive and we have been having a lot of fun so idrk I’m have fun tho

What happened?? Everytime I joined the hive server it always said ( sorry you can't validate to the server ) i thought my main acc got banned permanent so i tried creating another acc so i can play hive again but still won't let me join the server !!! What happened to the Hive server?!??

Every game was doing VERY good in Covid so comparing Hive to 2021 to 2023 is unfair compare it to 2019 and 2023 and ul see its getting the same members, and yes old people get bored of old things we need new gens. The community is what makes the server. The hive is dead because the playerbase is at an all time low. And anything in this video that was not my personal opinion was 100% factual. I understand u have a different viewpoint, but don't make up random stuff about my video. Although, u have to keep in mind this video was recorded before the new hub and bridge update. And like I said in the video, all updates are dead within a day or two. Bridge is back to its normal playerbase even after the hive added 9+ maps yesterday.

Hive is not dead i think cubecraft is dead beacuse 3 months ago Cubecraft players was more than Hive players But now Hive players is More than Cubecraft players beacuse Hackers number is increasing day by day in Cubecraft.
