New Serpentine Belt Idler Pulley from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AEIP00041
This video shows you how to replace your noisy pulley with a new TRQ one on your 2007-2013 Mini Cooper. That squealing noise coming from your vehicle’s engine compartment could be a slipping belt, or it could be a bad pulley bearing, or both. A bad pulley could eventually damage the belt, which could create even further damage.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2007 Mini Cooper
2008 Mini Cooper
2009 Mini Cooper
2010 Mini Cooper
2011 Mini Cooper
2012 Mini Cooper
2013 Mini Cooper

Um... That's not the idler pulley it's the water pump drive wheel.... The Tensioner (and idler pulley) is attached to the Alternator up front.
Correct, this is a Drive Belt Tensioner, the video description is wrong
what he took out was the idler pulley.yes he also took out the water pump wheel but I had to order this part and replace it on my own mini and its the idler pulley or also referred to as the friction wheel. so no, the vide is not incorrect
