CJC has been honest with me without pushing me to buy anything. Got an ´01 Dodge 2500 QCLB with EMF BJ‘s, Synergy linkage, Thuren for both the track bar and active sway bar. HUGE difference in ride quality. I also recommend a free spin kit to eliminate the cursed unit bearings.

Great video. #1 thing is saftey, much of us care of the truck, #1 thing is you and family is what this buys us. Peace of mind in rain, snow, dry, mud, wet conditiins rely on these updates to the truck's abilty to handle any condition. Especially when Putin is threatening with nuclear war. We should be Best to be prepared for anything. 😮
I don’t know if it’s the price or the work it takes to install but I have found that the free wheel kit I bought from Yukon fixes a lot of the steering quick wear issues these trucks have. The free wheel kit allows the spindle to spend free from the axle and differential. Getting rid of all of that rotating mass that the steering components has to deal with fixes a lot of the headache. I thought I was having to replace my steering box on my O2 ram 2500 4 x 4, but I decided to install the Yukon kit first. Along with the kit, I changed to the newer, steering tie rod style. Made a huge difference, and I ended up not changing out the box.

Synergy wasn't available but this has been the greatest improvement in driving my truck!

I was about to offload(sell) my MINT low mile 99 untill I saw this! Fingers crossed I'm going to try as last resort these ball joints you mentioned first.
My whole front end is New trying to correct the steering that I HATE!
New 3rd gen everything, red head, BDs steering box support bar, nothing left out. My diesel mechanic said he could fix it with new ball joints! I assume and hope what you mention here is what he suggested, I just wasn't convinced. At the moment I'm not convinced yet. I far prefer my 3 1st Gens 89,90

A black rust converter would have been better than nothing against the new parts. Although, it does look cool in its own way. 🤙

Do you have a kit for the 1500
What size tires and wheels on this 2nd gen? Beautiful setup
This truck is on a 37/12.5/17 Toyo MT with 0 offset 7x8.5 wheels.
Do you know if this kit fits the 1500s since we have a different axle?
Have you found any kits that work? I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE to find a t bar kit for a 2nd gen 1500, and the info is terrible

What grease do yous like to use for ball-joints/ tie rods/ greaseable aftermarket parts?
We use Redline CV2 Grease
What triming is needed to not rub running 37s on 20 inch methods toyo 37/12.50r20 carli coil red head steering pinch welds are shaved down still rubbing do u guys offer triming service in house?
What year truck do you have? For second gens, it takes some major trimming, or a trip to the body shop.

Sadly there aren't a lot of options for 2wd trucks outside of standard parts store stuff.

1500 4wd trucks use all the same parts!

Actually all of this fits a 4wd 94-2002 Ram 1500.

@@CJCOffRoad actually with the 1500s having a Dana 44 axle wouldn't that complicate things since the 2500/3500s are Dana 60/70?
@@Paranoid-loser While the axle is different, the actual mounting for the track bar and steering are the same, so you can use the 2500 parts without modification.
