  • As midnight struck, and ALL invasion forces throughout the land, inside and outside (from across the borders) flooded out and towards all objectives from both internal C C P reg1me properties & jumping-off pts outside the land: San Antonio was NO exception, as Russ1an, Venezualan, Serbian, and Nicaraguan Army forces backed up by the PLAAF (providing enormous airpower within just this sector alone) assaulted rapidly both their given-objectives; & also, enemy forces on the flanks WHEREVER found by the ISR constellation of surveillance assets. All actions where guided all the way through, by the real time battlefield AI data processing system, allowing for all invasion forces to perform their actions near-flawlessly. By the time Amer1can installations received their first artillery, Mssle, &/or air str1kes: it was already too late to do much if anything about it; afterall, follow-up forces arrived in many cases mere-minutes later, to mop-up anything that had survived said-str1kes. This repeated itself all throughout the nation, as installation after installation was RAPIDLY overrun, leaving little remaining which was able to resist the brutal onslaught. Amer1ca had over-extended itself in terms of its defense needs, priorities (which were WAY off-base), & allocation. Installations were varied in their readiness-status, with some having a higher Redcon status than did others, but the types of attks they received prevented them from being able to do much, if anything at all, as the combo of Mssle, artillery, air, and potent & RAPID ground-asslts made it impossible to throw up ANY sort of coherent defense (ESPECIALLY within the degraded communications environment, with everything down, including ISR capabilities). As the lack of comms made organizing defending forces next to impossible, defense was up to local areas & based on the initiative of the most Sr personnel available within ear-sh0t or line-of-sight that could take charge of surrounding personnel. Apart from this: the nations defense was failing already within the first few hrs of the invasion, including within San Antonio, as city hosting multiple installations. As every one of the installations came under severe, swift Asslt, clearance of the flanks became equally important for ease-of-logistics & the capture of important additional areas (E.G.: Nicaraguan troops of their volunteer Combat Bttn clearing armed civs in a neighborhood within less than 2 miles of the CPS power station on Victor Braunig Lake; this facility was taken without incident by Russ1an logistical, non-combat troops of 1 Company dispatched from one of the nearby logistical Bttns of the 91st HQ Bde of the 2 CAA of Russ1an Army). Venezuelan forces of 2 M. Inf Bttn's (13th Inf Bde, Venz. Army) would surround & clear an area of south San Antonio, of ~500 armed reactionary civ elements, which was a moderately-sized armed civ force for the immediate moment of the invasion (first few hrs). However, these Forces would be brutally crushed by Venezualan troops backed up by artillery & air power. Venezuelan forces had potent firepower as well, between the vehicles boasted by their M. Inf Co's, plus their AMX-13/90 Light Tanks (1 Co per M. Inf Bttn). These vehicles, mostly acted as Asslt gun fire support elements, able to put down fire on bldgs, light bunkers, or if necessary: most vehicle types available to their enemies (minus heavily armored vehicles, like MBTs, certain armored engineering vehicles, etc). For the Nicaraguan forces, they would take casualties almost immediately, as they surrounded & cleared an area hosting a cluster of armed civs. They made minor mistakes, that led to casualties, wherein they lost just over 2 dozen troops in the first engagement, which also benefited the Amer1cans by allowing some to steal more potent wpnry off of the KIA'd Nicaraguan troops. Venezuelan forces during their first engagements in south San Antonio, would lost far less, as only 17 KIA's would occur between all 3 Bttn's. Although the wounded would be several times higher for the Venez. Army forces, it would mostly be minor injuries seeing some troops returning to duty after short stints in the field hospitals. Amer1can armed civs would fall in their hundreds as KIA's, between those engaged in south San Antonio by both the Nicaraguan & Venez. forces (between both pockets engaged: 585 KIA's, 200 WIA's which all became POW's & received medical treatment, with only 65 non-injured. Of the 65: 14 escaped alive, the rest surrendered along with the WIA's. ~7500 non-combatants perished between both of the combat zones mentioned, due to crossfire/Artillery/air str1kes/etc). Of the non-combatant civilian casualties, they were relatively mild compared to many other parts of the city, as the Venezuelans were somewhat more careful than other coalition member-nation forces as they assaulted areas, trying not to create civ casualties. Some forces cared far less about this, needless to say. Next video: Ingram Mall

@@IntotheFray84 thank you; anytime I make these, there's tons of re-takes involved to get them as near to perfect as they can get (these are difficult with my brain injury to make, even when I think they were done right, sometime there's still small mistakes like when i noticed after it uploaded that I accidentally called the Nicaraguans, Venezualans a couple of times 😆).
