Today I played Geometry Dash, a game that was made for people who don't like themselves. this game is sisyphian in nature, and sucks away at the soul and its ability to proces emotion. its pretty bad. In that way i relate to the struggle of geometry d ash a lot. it symbolizes the internal battles i have with my demons in a deceivingly brightly colored package. I can see this being used in therapeutic settings after a few decades

Fun fact, at 60fps, that Tidal Wave level requires 200 frame perfect clicks to complete.
As a geometry dash player, I can say that we are not okay in the head and these levels are a perfect example as of why.

It's 13-15% for me
1000 attempts and I made only it past the triple speed wave TWICE (and died straight after so my best is 18%). Sucks because everything else is so doable for me but I couldn’t get that wave section down if my life depended on it
As someone who has beaten demon levels in gd i can attest that the tidal wave vid makes it look so much easier than it is
I feel like you have to AT A MINIMUM beat a extreme demon to even SLIGHTLY understand how impossibly hard it is.

making levels is usually choosing a song, then syncing obstacles, etc. and then at the very last you do the design
As a GD player, I can confidently say this game is one of the most underrated ever. It's history is chalk full of some of the most interesting and obscure stories in gaming, it's community levels have some of the largest time commitments from both the player and the creator, and it has essentially infinite playable and even watchability.
Geometry Dash is hard but teaches it's mechanics well. You have to beat levels in order, mostly.
It only takes determination to be good at Geometry dash.
