Get a Nichia 365nm UV LED for the least amount of white light pollution.. LG UV LEDs are great but Nichia UV LEDs have the least amount of white light pollution.

it seems that 405 still shows some flourescence with the background and therefore i conclude it still contains some properties of uv energy band , even tho it officially isnt an "uv light"
,or could it be that because of inability to produce single vawelenght light sourse we still have some uv riding along in 405nm LED?

Well, I'm not an expert but each of them certainly emit UV radiation.. The highest efficiency one among them is the 365nm, and the efficiency also depends on the brand that manufactured the 365nm LED.

@@HomnixHD 365nm has the least amount of visible light but the highest amount of UV Radiation among them.. The visible light is not the brightest out of 365nm.. but the fluorescent objects will glow the brightest with 365nm
There is nothing special about fluorescence that it HAS to be created by ultraviolet light. Shine a 405nm LASER pointer at uranium mineral or manganocalcite, it will fluoresce, there is no UV present. Shine a 532nm green laser at chlorophyll in plants, it will fluoresce red, there is definitely no UV present. Shine a RED light at any neodymium compound, it will fluoresce in the infrared at 1064nm, there is ABSOLUTELY no ultraviolet light present.
405 is the peak wavelength but they do indeed emit wavelength under 400 as well. It’s has the spectrum in the data sheets for the diodes.

No, this is "UV-A" which is not for water cleaning.. the one for water cleaning is called "UV-C".

What if it was possible to use that wavelength with standard 700 MB CDs? Would they hold 25 GB in theory?
@@gyrofrank It might be possible. Blu-ray drives have 2 extra diodes for reading DVDs and CDs because the pits are too big for the Blu-ray laser to read accurately. So maybe you could modify a CD and trick the drive into using its Blu-ray diode so that it can hold 25gb

These are 16mm Direct Thermal Pad Copper Boards "DTP" , They differ from the standard boards ( in Direct Thermal Pad Boards the Center Pad is connected directly to the copper which offers a lot better Thermal Conductivity, keeps the LED-die cooler and extends its life) but in the standard PCB boards there is a dielectric layer between the center pad and the copper in the back which reduces the thermal conductivity.
