      Luca non fa karate. Condivido pienamente il concetto di kase sensei. Queste sono solo mimiche inutili che cercano di replicare i kata. Solo un insulto per il karate tradizionale

      @@_Karate_World non riuscite solo ad ammettere che il Karate come qualsiasi cosa al mondo si evolve, probabilmente se Luca avesse vissuto ai tempi del karate classico sarebbe stato rispettato da tutti

    • @_Karate_World
      @_Karate_World Před rokem

      @@zenyt2853 purtroppo arte marziale e sport non coincidono. Sono due poli completamente opposti. Luca è un buffone, posizione sbagliate, tecniche sbagliate ecc. Sa solo replicare ( perché non li sa fare, ma replicare ) solo dei kata scelti per le competizioni e niente altro. Se lo mettessimo a far kumite ne prenderebbe tante, come d'altronde molti altri buffoni: Busà, Busato ecc. Evoluzione ci sta, basta guardare la JKA. Si sta evolvendo il loro karate ma rimane un arte marziale con principi. WKF non è karate, mettetevi jn testa questa cosa .

    Nice performance of the kata but is done with poor timing. Start, stop, start, stop, start ,stop pause, kiai. It lacks flow. It should be done more naturally. That turn the many techniques into one technique.

    • @psyteech
      @psyteech Před 2 lety +2

      Loool, it’s literally how you are supposed to do it. Gankaku is not about speed, it’s about technique and therefore is one of the hardest katas to execute.

    • @johnwilkes4671
      @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety

      @grant young - I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this gent's unnatural, inorganic "rhythm". One thing is clear, this man is NOT envisioning that desperate hour when one is fighting for their lives! Why, he doesn't see any opponents at all! How can we tell? Because it is the opponent, choosing the moment of attack that dictates our rhythm.
      No opponent = no rhythm = the mess we see here.

    • @johnwilkes4671
      @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety +1

      @Fxc - its not about technique any more than any other kata. Gankaku is about honing gracefulness into a lethal weapon. Hence, its inherent beauty... and brutality..

    • @hezekiah74
      @hezekiah74 Před 2 lety +1

      The pauses are there for grace and of course to impress the judges that’s all. Kata for grading tends to be a little different we do flow a little more, while showing you can perform all techniques well.
      But unfortunately for some, this is how sports Kata is. Yes very far from its purpose and roots.

    • @johnwilkes4671
      @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety

      @Soulful keys - can you imagine what would have happened if Van Gogh, Money and the other impressionists had painted to impress judges drawn from art critics rather than to express their own soulful experience if the human condition? Soviet art shows us what happens when artists are judged by officialdom.
      I know that every military has its parade battalions and honor guards to show the public. Karate itself has demonstrations such as board breaking. But primarily seeking championships and honors instead of self expression.. is death to the art.

  • @johnwilkes4671
    @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety +1

    Here's another putz exploring just how divorced from real combat a kata can be. Speed for speed sake, pauses without purpose, showy useless stances and a face that suggests constipation more than combat.
    Is our noble art really in the hands of such cardboard creations as this???

    • @Nobody-uh9ug
      @Nobody-uh9ug Před 2 lety +2

      Would you challenge him in a real combat? I think he still remembers how to beat arrogant people!

    • @johnwilkes4671
      @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety +1

      @Nobody - what is the definition of arrogance? Is it not this: to spend a lifetime pursuing gold medals and seeking the admiration of others?

    • @johnwilkes4671
      @johnwilkes4671 Před 2 lety +1

      @Nobody - "A man does as he is trained to do." - USAF saying.
      This man has trained himself to amuse judges, not for combat. Therefore, no, he holds no terror for an old man who has performed 120,000 kata with combat effectiveness as the sole object.
