The Ciampa turn was in Chicago following a ladder match lost to AOP but glad DIY got the belt because I always enjoyed their work.
They beat the Revival for the NXT titles at Takeover Toronto in 2016
What bothers me, they split the tag belts at Mania and haven't had them defended on a PPV since.

The tag team title match maybe should have been on the PLE, but it’s always nice to see a rare title change on TV. Even though it only seems to happen with tag team titles.
I think I had seen elsewhere that WWE is limiting the number of matches on a non-Wrestlemania/Summer Slam PLE. I think there are some advantages and drawbacks to either strategy, but given the format of MITB, I get why WWE put that title switch on Smackdown last night.

That was a great match . Kudos to both teams.
That was an amazing finish to the main event last night. It's very rare to see submissions win a match, but the way the ending was booked worked on so many levels, with Austin Theory attempting to break up the submission by grabbing his partner's hand before a tap out only to have that interference broken up. I'm just getting back into watching wrestling again after many years away, but what I saw on Smackdown has me fired up for MITB tonight.

Champa needs to start up his obsessive Goldie character. I think main roster that gimic would get over like rover.
Unfortunately, with his size, age and injury history, they won't give him a run with a singles belt. I would love it though. He was my favorite NXT catch, specifically with the Goldie gimmick.

I REALLY hope they keep those belts on DIY for a while. I'm hoping for something similar in style and length to Kendrick and London's run. Sadly shy of WWE NOT pushing Bloatline 2.0 to the moon (here's hoping this story has had it's time) I can see them dropping them by Summerslam at the latest
I feel a heel turn coming with Belair & Cargill. There has been a theme with the women’s tag belts. Cora Jade turned on Roxanne, Shayna turned on Ronda, so we have a history of women turning on each other after winning the belts.
They should drop Them belts back to jade n B they only won cus they was in they Home town

I thought the split was gonna happen at the end of the show, due to there being a good 5 minutes of the show left after DIY won, but I like them maybe saving it for a bigger stage.

Finally DIY wins Gold on the Main Roster
Theory was giving off heavy fighting babyface vibes. He was saving those titles left and right. If Waller tries to run his mouth about it he is getting a fist in the pie hole. Theory can have his Attitude Era Cena moment where he beats the piss out of anyone who disrespects him.

Maybe I'm in the minority regarding this but I think it's a bit odd that aew hold a tournament named for Owen Hart despite the fact that Owen has nothing to do with aew at all. I mean aew didn't even exist when Owen was still with us. I don't get it. Owen Hart is a beloved legend who was sadly taken away from all of us way too soon but a wrestling company like aew who has zero connection or ties to Owen seems a bit odd.
Considering the Hart Family seems to have a lot of lingering heat with WWE, I can't say that I blame them for staging the tournament on AEW.

One of the most challenging things that I have seen in WWE these days is every time they debut someone in NXT the seems to give them complex names like for example J'Von Evans. This is so poor because they're giving them complex name and expecting simple minded crowd to remember this. I think WWE should go for much simpler and catchy names like Bobby Yogurt or Jimmy Cappuccino
