Fabulously done - thank you Kate & Michael. Yeah, there's humour at the start, but there's also a really unpleasant undertone to the situation initially, so when Moiraine cuts in and takes over - "Is this what Aemon’s blood has come to?” - oh my days. Amazon take note - THIS is WoT. This is what it feels like and THIS is why it's powerful. Despite the scale of the battle, the story is plainly told almost to the point of understatement and consequently has infinitely more dramatic weight than all of the (actually fairly lack-lustre) CGI you can muster.

"And her voice held the sound of cold tears". Ouch.

This is amazing. My wife and I love these narrators. She especially has been listening to them constantly now for the past 3 years!
I missed WoTCon 2022, but my wife and I plan to go this year. Is this happening again (I assume a different iconic scene from the series if so)? If so, do I need to buy the VIP package to experience it?
