- Wekfest is one of those event's I've wanted to attend for a while now and it did not disappoint! Japan's best builds all in one place - DC2 and DC5 Integra's, Civic, S-chassis, FD and FC RX-7, Skyline's, Supra's, and so much more!
Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment!

Oh man, Wekfest looks like an awesome show. Killer relaxed vibe and high quality builds
Super enjoyable show with top notch builds!
Another fuckin BANGER Steve!
THIS is why I LOVE your videos man
You show the subtle interesting things that the bigger channels wont because YOU love them, not what will get views with clickbait headlines.
Ive watched at least 30 videos from this event by others and swore there was only 10 cars there based on what they showed.
SUPER cool to see the High End shops starting to do Sex Spec style interiors too
Thanks man! I just look at what I'm drawn to...I should try the clickbait approach to help pull in new viewers. hahaha Jk jk. Really appreciate the support!
I really like the Alcantara wrapped interiors! It's definitely a neat evolution of how they used to do it. It's just funny that when the interiors were fresh and in good shape in the Sex Spec hay days, they were doing the full custom interiors to be different and standout. And now that all the OEM interiors are worn and haggard, they're doing it as a last resort means of restoring them. haha
@35:00 Its called a CR-X Ballade Mugen Edition.
Essentially a showpiece for what you could buy through the Honda Dealership from Mugen's Racing development and was powered by a carbed ZC06
The First gen was never sold here in Australia but there are a few around, but THIS is the Holy Grail of First Gen CRX's, INCREDIBLE
That's super cool. Did all first gen's have the flared guards like that? I'm not sure if we ever got this model in America? I'm more familiar with the second gen(?); like the body style after this like 88-89ish? That's a lot of question marks - you can tell how familiar I am with the chassis! Haha. I did notice the bronze glass when editing though - that's such a neat touch.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL No its even earlier, 83-87.
They were sold in the US and you could buy MUGEN parts direct from Japan through the Dealer Network.
Theres a few of these in the States that were either brought in from Japan or built by dealers themselves as Show pieces for the Auto Shows of that time.
Theres a great video that Larry chen did with Kenji from Greddy USA and his Gen 1 where he talks a lot about the history of the cars
I got offered to buy one here in OZ that was crazy cheap but Parts for my Gen 2 are hard to come by as it is and with it not being sold here theres very little if anything for them Down Under
18:45 that dc2 by tactical art is a work of art
Absolute beauty!!
I enjoy the chill commentary and steady camera work!
Oh wow, thank you! I really appreciate that! Videos that make me motion sick are the worst. Haha
I'm seriously gutted that I'm visiting Japan too late to see this show.
It definitely has the variety and quality, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of good stuff while you're here. Half the fun is exploring.
Aaaah yeah new video! Will edit with feedback once I’ve watched it lol
Man the quality is off the charts! Thanks for sharing some E46 M3 goodness. Japan wheel game is just something else
Looking forward to it - thanks for watching!
That GC8!!!!!!!!! Oh wow I am so glad to see a 1st gen Impreza
Couple of suuuuuuuuper thicccccc GC's!
We’re back babyyyyyyy
Trying to keep up with it!
Excellent! Would love to attend one of these shows. Legoland was a lot of fun though......👍
I mean you had the option of tagging along. Hahaha

ありがとうございます😉
カッコイイですよ!とてもキレイ!
これからも頑張ってください!
A really great video cant wait to see what you do with your cars. insane taste
Thank you for watching and the support! I'm looking forward to getting my DC2 to a state of being reliable and then go from there with the fun stuff!
Always enjoy your event videos; a great mix of enthusiasm and knowledge.
Was a surprise to see EP3's, one of my childhood favourites.
P.s BN Sports over Vertex for your 14!
Thank you! I'm leaning toward BN as well. If Vertex, then it would be the bigger Lang aero not the Ridge widebody or original Vertex.
Another Great one 👌👌
18:59 35:00 Mugen CRX with the CF48 wheels😍😍
29:22 Another Great one
Thanks! I went back and checked pics on my phone and I actually saw the one at 29:22 at a track day at Tsukuba 1000. The same day as Attack Tsukuba. I talked to him and his friend after I spotted them packing up while on my way back to my car. The valve cover is a replica, but it's cool to know such a clean build actually gets used on track. Such neat little cars.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL Nothing better than being used on track. Thanks for the info
Did you catch the red Canadian itr spec seats in that white Comptech Integra (with the usdm b18). Super rare!
Man thanks for the coverage and your POV, those RX7 really had cool variants of race car liveries. Like the original Mazda inverted to blue/grey… and the one IMSA replica (or real?)
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! I'm not sure about the details on the RX7's but definitely a good like up!
@22:10 Thats a EA-T With a ZC06 swap.
We got a version of this Engine here in Australian delivered Gen 2 CRX that was sold locally and is stamped as a D16A8.
Essentailly a D Series Block with a ZC head amongst other slight differences
I know because i have an Aussie delivered one and some of the ZC stuff doesnt fit, dont ask me how i know that hahaha
Haha, someone's got to be the guinea pig to figure out what works. I like the body style - it's like a mash up of the gen1 CRX and EF9. I like the big square hatch proportions versus the CRX shape overall.
31:09 stole the show for me
Such a unique build and unbelievable clean. Incredible to see the seats and interior plastics in such great condition. I just couldn't quite figure out the combination of parts.
24:00 My EM1 coupe is factory RHD. Made in America, but for the European market.
Oh wow, that is interesting. I had no idea!
@@BRICKHOUSESPL I’m not sure how they did it back in the 90s. Either assembled in America or they exported them to designated countries for those to assemble at their own factory. Only few countries in Europe are RHD, like the UK, where my car is from.
EJ1 RHD was available in the UK 🇬🇧
Oh nice, that might be the case then
That E36 aero is from the UK I think, HM Sports.
Oh nice! I knew someone would know. :)
As far as Integra unicorns go, USDM Integra Type Rs are more rare than JDM ITRs. And i think the white USDMs are the rarest (don’t quote me) as most were yellow or black.
Oh wow, that's definitely the opposite here! White ITRs are most common here. I think yellow is super rare. My Sir-G is probably more the unicorn in terms of production numbers here in Japan. hahaha. Parts would have been easy if I would have bought a Type R.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL the US market tried to sell them but they weren’t very popular here. Not until the last decade, anyways. So it makes sense why importing the twin round headlight fronts and some USDM ITR parts would be considered “status” in Japan.
Aren’t you also seeing more backwards importing into Japan from the US as well?
@@oregonfelder1 yeah, that does happen. Quite a few LHD cars here and there...mainly euro, usdm cars, or trucks that weren't offered here.
Right Steven, no need to show Euro cars. I see them every day. So JDM is my priority😅
A lot of DC2's. But where DC5? But this one RED looking good. But i'm not sure about mugen look 😮 Not so popular?
Haha, I feel like I really need to learn more about Euros.
DC5's are more common on the road than DC2's but I'm not sure why there weren't more in the show. I'm sure there's a lot of good DC5 builds in Japan that I don't know about. I was surprised to see more EP3's than DC5's.
We Need some toyota 4age content
Haha, I'm with you! I'll see what I can do!
Dc2 Jdm Carbon air whats company ?
What's the time stamp in the video? I'll check it out.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL not dc2 only eg 😭
