When my kids were small-ish they would ask for “root soup” which meant we took a trip to the store, bought all things “root” potatoes, turnips, carrots, onions, rutabagas, etc., and then they would help me wash, cut, and cook them all in some vegetable broth. My kids are all grown now 😕 i miss those days. Thank you for the memory. Happy Valentines day
Love the words edges on your food glue book, great idea. 😃👍🏻 My Cat Soma does that too… as soon As I try to do something, she wants attention and meows up a storm… It gets really frustrating sometimes…. 🐱
I felt your struggle 😊 I have been there many times. So my solution to the problem is double stick tape or even better is tacky glue. 👍👍. Give it a try.
In the UK turnips are mainly used in roast dinners. Chopped and diced and boiled with equal amounts of carrots, once soft drain off all the water. Add a bit of butter, some salt and pepper then mash them up together. Beautiful with roast potatoes and meat of your choice and over veg. ☺️
Turnip is like a Rutabaga, I prefer the Rutabaga. I find Turnip are bitter. I cut my Rutabaga up like I would potatoes and boil them, mash them and serve with lots of butter. Salt to taste. It’s a Northern thing. Can’t get the southerners here in Texas to eat them.

I love how Orion needs to come on and ‘sing the blues’. He’s just trying to figure out who the heck you’re talking to😅😅😂😂.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a rutabaga either😅😂🤣
Turnips are unique to themselves they don’t taste similar to anything else you can put them in soup or stew or boil them and mash them with potatoes
