Doing two black ops games with treyarch involved back to back is insane at least let it simmer for a bit and give em more time for 7. Gonna kill the player-base for 6 within a year or have an awkward split

2024: Black Ops VI (Gulf War) [developed by Treyarch Games]

BO4 was set before BO3
I feel like I say this over and over but we need round based, onslaught, and outbreak by season 1 no discussion. Anything less is worse than cold war just round based does not fly anymore and the people that say that are lying to themselves, we need as much content as possible and by just having round based that severely limits that. We also need all 3 modes for the styles of gameplay, and even if you want to play a quick game of onslaught if you don't have time or something. Just round based would lead to burnout much faster, if all we get is 5-8 round based maps it would not be nearly as replayable as having 6 RB, 10 outbreak, and 20 onslaught. Round based is obviously the main mode but just 1 mode is a thing of a past, just rb could obviously fly in older cods but certainly not now.
all good ltms like containment and outbreak collapse need to return with tweaks as well, they literally said they will keep those in mind for future titles, SO BRING THEM BACK.
When they say open story mode missions is that DMZ?

Im not excited at all, because i already know the zombies wont be even close to bo2 or bo3 zombies. Maybe one day ill pick it up again if i see some good gameplay
Outbreak was the best thing Cold War gave us, loved it!
Outbreak was alright but it was way too slow paced for setting up and felt empty even at the end of season 6. Hoping if they do another version of it that it has more of a sense of urgency to it

Open world campaign is a massive L, that shit is cringe. Cod is meant to be a linear designed game, the gameplay loop isn't diverse enough for open world.. Also being on the same engine as all the other recent games is another L, game is gonna feel more like MW than a BO game tbh, they need to scrap this unified engine thing and branch back off to different engines again. That is half the reason why Cod sucks now, every game is identical, there is no identity, no soul. Every Cod in this Warzone era has just been a DLC to MW19 except Cold War, 3arc NEED to stay on the CW engine ffs.

Random question if anyone wants to help out. I heard somewhere that in the MWZ story trailer that the CRBR-S wonder weapon was teased but I’ve watched it countless times and never seen it. But then as I’m watching this video around the 9 min mark and the MWZ story trailer plays and I notice for the first time when they enter the room with the dead requeam members that one of the soldiers aims his flashlight behind the deadbodies I see clear as day a monkey bomb for some reason, any know if the CRBR-S was actually teased or not? Is it just as hidden as this monkey bomb? Never heard anyone mention this monkey bomb I’m referring too before btw. I’ll try to reply to this comment with the time stamp.

If the crbr-s is in there I haven’t seen it but I also haven’t been bothered to try and scour for it. Anything that was in that trailer was most likely there because they were studying aetherium and had different items on hand to do so
Outbreak is a massive drain on resources, all the time and attention poured into that mode could be used to reassess and fix the state of actual round based zombies

@@bubba418 By setting the Black Ops franchise in the same universe as the current Modern Warfare reboot series, they automatically retconned Black Ops 2 and beyond because Black Ops 2 took place in 2025 and Modern Warfare takes place in the current time. Black Ops 2 is a totally different world with way more advanced technology compared to what it is in the actual modern day. It is impossible to have it remain canon and make sense. The same thing would naturally apply to Black Ops 3 and 4.

I'm so tired of people calling it Black Ops VI and complicating things (I know it's for clickbait sometimes), I'm going to give you a good example, Minecraft Dungeons isn't Minecraft 2 and there's a bunch of other games that use subtitles like this, for example Call Of Duty itself, there's 20+ games
Minecraft dungeons is not a good example at all, it’s a completely different genre of game from Minecraft. Frankly a better example is the kingdom hearts series. But obviously when they announce it people will refer to it as the subtitle or the number, whatever is used, and you can also look at the fast and the furious franchise, sometimes they do just different words, sometimes they use numbers. If calling it BO6 complicates things when it’s the 6th installment of that series, then maybe go after all the other companies that mix and match for overcomplicating things too
