Are you satisfied with how it works, or is it better to buy stock? Are there any differences or is everything the same?
So I think all of these adaptors have their issues. For instance the first real long run with this it disconnected and I had to turn the bike off and on again. I have a ottocast (so I could run Android) and half the time it does not connect the first go, I have to shutdown my bike and restart. Now to answer your question, I like having it wireless. My Iphone, if it gets wet or detects moisture it disables the charging port. I hope this solves the issue. Everything works the same once setup though. Stock works though so it is a personal preference.

Does this gadget allow Android Auto? Why on earth Indian doesn't incorporate Android Auto baffles me 🇦🇺
I can confirm that it does NOT work with Android auto. I just tried to connect a Android phone to it. It pairs but does not do anything at the screen.
I guess this may work to get you what you need. Ottocast U2-X Pro.

It is kinda pricy but it may work. If I had the extra $150.00 I would get it and try it. I do agree that it is crazy they do not support Android Auto. I think I like it better anyway.
