Love the sound of the crunching snow underfoot... memories.😊
That makes the two of us! It's really a calming sound! ☀️
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Love how their are trees, se for miles.🇸🇪
Awesome! I'm glad for you that it worked out well. Keep up the good work! 👍
Hey thank you very much Christian!
I’m so happy it was you and not me. I am very much not a fan of wintertime! I’m loving Sweden now, though! 20 degrees and sunny on Gotland today!
Hey, well I guess I'm a person who prefers cold over heat so if I do your winter can you take my summer?
This is an awesome little adventure
Hey Thank you so much! It was actually quiet cozy out there
Rutinerat med de hemgjorda tältklabbarna! 👍
Hej! Well done! Amazing video, i'll be waiting for the next one! ✌️
Hey thanks, hopefully its not too long away
An interesting video Emma. Good idea to use the wooden stakes as pegs as the snow would bind to the wood better than a snow peg.
Fortunate you had perfect weather for the adventure.
Wind and blizzard are more of a challenge. As you said, you are trying again and working things through.
Another challenge would be how to feed yourself in the sub frozen environment. Water bottles freezing, how to keep your food warm and yourself?
Little things to progressively learn. Some will work, others will fail, but each will offer insights into how you will go in an obviously harsh environment.
Could you have had more ventilation open so that the condensation wasn’t on the sleeping bag? If you were moving campsites then you would need to figure out how to keep your bag dry so the loft would work. If using superdown, doesn’t like being wet.
As I alluded to above, a learning experience. Cheers, Paul from south east Australia 🇦🇺
We actually have plenty of snow during our winter in south east Australia and I used to love snow camping, doing cross country skiing adventures. Knees and other issues means I can’t do much. Am still working and enjoy doing Pilates three times a week.
Wow sounds like you still do a good job to keep up! Thanks for all your thoughts and advice, I absolutely have a lot to learn when it comes to winter camping and I'm excited to keep on practising! :) Cheers from Sweden
Jag ska kommer till Svergie. Using any excuse to practice my swedish
Ja gör det! You won't forget it
Your accent sounds different to me than other Swedes, like Swedish but also kinda Aussie. (I've never been to Sweden, just from YouTubing)
Well I went to New Zeeland straight after high school and I think I piked up a bit of their accent, I've heard that before.
@@EmmaaNilss I worked with a New Zealand man a long time ago. I definitely found I was picking up an accent. I’m back to an Aussie accent now.
nice, it looks so warm there wow!
Yeah I was surprised, it was kind of warm
