RULES:
• The only permitted mod is mission timer
• If you're running modded, please display the mod list before or after the mission.
• Due to "Mission Time" being volatile, Timing is done by stopwatch, visible on the video. You may use SimpleMissionTimer from the workshop to time your runs. Timer starts when you gain control of your dwarf after the pod lands, timer ends when you are in the pod and weapons are no longer drawn on screen.
• No third-party software other than for recording and timing.
• Solo Mode Only
• Latest Update
• Hazard 5 difficulty.
• No Positive mutator allowed these are the yellow mutators that may affect the gameplay/combat aspects of the game such as: Critical Weakness, Low Gravity, Rich Atmosphere and Volatile Guts
• No beer buffs.
• Secondary objective does not have to be completed

this dwarf spends more time flying to planet and back than on actual missions. Imagine mission control getting ready to call out swarms and send supply pods only to receive drop pod request a minute later. impressive

Thank you! And yes, it was blind. Took me numerous restarts to get a decent seed, though. Almost all of them were either really spread out or a really difficult terrain

This week's edd was brutallllll for me it took us 1h05 to do it. Any chance for a speedrun on that?

It looks brutal! Even going off the WR pace for each mission (and that's without secondaries), you'd be looking at around 27 minutes, so my guess is it would be tough to break 30 minutes. I generally stay away from those long dives because I typically replay them a few times to learn and adapt, and when they're that long it can take several hours. With having a baby now my free time is very limited, so unfortunately it's unlikely that I'd have time to speedrun that one

I think the CO-OP world was only a couple seconds faster than this. It’s realllly pushing the limits of how fast you can mathematically complete the mission
