I feel like the best projects, or art come from instinct. If I think too much about it, it never turns out as good as just throwing things together. Which is funny, because every other part of my like is 100% planned out!

I love to watch ppl glue in real time...love long videos...but i can understand keeping a video to at least an hour when it comes to glueing. I love composition books to play in...glue in. Glue book I have been working on for a while is nothing but scraps. I find that fun. Anyway have a good one!!😍😍😍
I enjoy the hour-ish videos too! Especially if I feel like I 'know' the person, and they share their lives/thoughts with me. Which is what I try to do, but sometimes I am too busy trying to figure out where to put something to think about what to talk about 😂 Thanks for joining me! Yes! I Found a golden retriever in my fussy cuts and was all "oh, I need a body for this lil guy!" 😂 I have been watching a LOT of glue book videos and it is enjoyable! I am glad that I was enjoyable as well, because there will be more glue book videos for sure! TFW! 💜
I have a bunch of Crafters companion magazines I look at once and barely open again. I think I might make a few glue books separating cards from gift box ideas. Maybe I can make a flip book... half cards, flip over, half other. Two start pages, no ending... 🤔. Thanks again for the inspiration Laura! 😊

I enjoy watching others gluebooking as well as doing it myself..you were fun to watch and I personally don't mind seeing people put glue onto paper also.
I prefer real time, I very rarely speed my videos up but I do edit quite a bit as they get really long.. I try to keep them around an hour but like you said, it's my channel and you watch it or you don't it's up to you...and how you watch it! I love it if people are watching and joining me in creating in any way they choose, feels like we're creating together 😊👍🏻💗
Yes! Sometimes I glue for 2 hours and I am all "no one is going to watch this for 2 hours!" 😂 I also talk very slowly when I am creating, so there's that (I am also southern, so I naturally talk slower too!). I love your glue book vids, too! 💜 TFW! 💞

ME TOO!!! I am trying to pace myself and just do one at a time, so I don't get overwhelmed...but it's hard to not want to just start all of my glue book ideas! lol (and art journal ideas, and mixed media ideas, and junk journal ideas and.... 😂 )

I've learned using a composition book it helps to glue 2 pages together. 😊 I always prep my books first. 🤠
Nice! I have heard the gluing two pages together, thing. I wanted to be a rebel and just try not doing that (i am a halfass crafter, you see 🤣). We’ll see how chunky hunky this thing gets 😂 TFW! 💜

I found Nicole at Relax, Cut, Glue and she is awesome for glue booking. Inspired me to start a colour glue book. Funnily enough I find I enjoy fussy cutting. Who knew? This was great. Thanks.
FYI ... I'm one viewer who doesnt really care for the voice overs.
OH yeah! I've been watching Nicole for a year or so! Fussy cutting can become meditative once I start doing it -- key word is START 😆 You are not the only person who doesn't like voice overs! I don't like them either, actually -- and folks are pretty vocal about not liking them, so I guess I will just blather incessantly at y'all while gluebooking in the future 😂 TFW! 💜

I've started a couple of glue books.....and there's a tiny part of me that can't quite wrap my brain around the whole concept... but there's a bigger part that says - it's paper and cutting and glueing and just enjoy it.... so.... I'll be interested to see how this unfolds with you!
It does sort of have a feeling of "This is it?" I was explaining glue books to my friend last night and she said "But my brain wants to do real art, and that feels too easy!" and I was all "oh, I bet that's my brain too!" But I told her to just do it and keep trying it and it gets silly and do it if it makes you giggle! She liked that advice and said she was going to try it. It's the thing I will do when I can't muster can creativity to get out the real supplies and get busy. 🤷♀️ Creativity is weird sometimes 😂 TFW! 💜

Yes! I think when I finish this random book I will start theme books. I am starting to see why folks do a theme page. There are just so many possibilities that you need that constraint. This is so much fun! TFW! 💜
I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around “random” but this video is helping! Thank you! I think im making my pages more of a collage. But I like doing it so I guess that’s ok too. But random feels “freeing” and fun too! Love your videos. And i always end up making up a story to go along with my pages too. I have been subscribed to Tattered Edges for a couple of years now. I am like you when it comes to the movies, but I enjoy her passion, and, of course she does many other things as well. I think your story teller is Doki Doki Forest, but I know I watch others that tell stories too. I like listening to your style of video because I can craft along. I looked up at your concern for the lady avoiding the fire for example. I agree. It looked like she was hoping that pool in the yard would save her life. This format works well for you. If I ever decided to do a CZcams channel I would have to do a voiceover. The way my mind works I can only do one thing at a time. While I was crafting you would hear nothing. Not great if someone wants to craft along. While I was talking I would be doing nothing. Seems kind of pointless on a video. I'm not sure why others choose to do voiceovers, but I think it takes a certain skill. I hope others will give the same kind of encouragement to those learning that skill as they do to those new to a craft. But of course everyone will have their preferences. I personally have difficulty with the live streams. I've enjoyed a few of your videos now and have decided to subscribe. I do regularly give thumbs up, and occasional short comments. I just found her a week or so ago, but I subbed so fast! 😆 I even started making stories for my pages too! I just love how we can cross-pollinate creativity across all of our CZcams channels! I am trying to be a bit more mindful of the talking...I mean, I talk to myself while crafting no matter if there is a recording happening or not!
