Recently I was considering the Candy Prediction @ €290 when it occurred to me that precisely the identical effect could be accomplished with a far less expensive add-a-number pad. Naked numbers can be rather dry but trying to estimate the number of candies in a jar gets the whole audience involved.

The problem with this plot is that someone in the audience needs to be able to add.

Hey David, great review as always, was looking forward to it since your unboxing. I had mentioned i own the el-duco pad. My question on this one : do you have to ‘’manipulate’’ the pad after all numbers are written and passed to the spectator who will add the numbers? Or is it totaly hands off once you give to the first spectator ?

@@magicorthodoxy does the pad need to stay open ? will it be a problem you think if spectator 1 closes the pad while passing to spectator 2 who will write his number
