What many people don't even know: In the USA, Anastacia (born in Chicago) has not yet achieved her big breakthrough. The pop singer, who is successful in Europe, has only managed to get one place in the US singles charts with her debut single "I'm Outta Love", and that was only number 92.
This was actually her first ever single. Was a mega hit in Europe and she became a superstar! She had multiple hits in European and Australia for almost 10 years

She is amazing and was huge over here in the UK. I think she is from Texas. You need to hear her sing this live. Her voice is crazy powerful. She won 'The masked singer' in Australia a couple of years ago. Her character was 'Vampire'. Not sure if its a show you get over there. Basically there's a row of judges that are all famous. Each content is also famous but not necessarily a singer. They all wear costumes and the judges have to guess who is inside. Worth you watching all of her performances from it so you can hear how strong her voice is live.

@@popland1977 Why was she blacklisted here? Her albums sold in Europe and Japan. Also she also got breast cancer, Crohn's disease and a heart condition which set her back. I loved when she and Celine Dion sang "You Shook Me" by AC/DC on VH1 Divas. It was amazing.
