Finally getting through these gauntlets myself and died the same way to the True Monk. That's what we get for looking ahead but glad I wasn't the only one - I did not have the resilience to immediately jump back in.
Making you fight every boss in the game and giving you nothing is top tier trolling
They literally tell you right away that there is no reward for that challenge once you unlock it...
No, waiting 2 entire years for an update and it's a couple skins and an almost useless mechanic is top tier trolling. Not saying a word about Elden ring is god tier. Never thought fromsoft would go to shit but...

Ok I know it's a bit late now, but for Demon of Hatred:
- the fireproof umbrella is an amazing panic option for basically all of his dangerous attacks and also does a shitton of damage if you tank the jump slam.
- if he runs away/past you, always immediately run towards him. That way he'll always miss his fireballs or other follow-up.

Kind of appropriate reward, you are left with the memory of beating the mortal journey, just like all the other bosses along the way.

Here's the thing I'm scared about. I'm gonna watch this video, laugh at Myth's struggle, and then be like: "Okay, I should put my money where my mouth is and beat this thing". Then I'm gonna have to spend easily 5 hours a day continuously until I beat it since I not only have to beat all the gauntlets I also have to relearn all of my skills and all of the boss patterns. And I really can't afford to lose that time rn but that seems like what's about to happen so yeah. Fear.

Your reward was the precious memories from this experience. Like dying to the same easily avoidable attack from True Monk (twice!) and losing 40 minutes of your life starting it all over again. Good times. One day, you'll look back at this gauntlet with fond memories. Sekiro is such a relaxing, Zen like game.

There's literally a message that pops up telling you there is no reward lol how did you not see it.
I recommend the purple umbrella tool. You can use it to parry, and immeadeatly counter. For example when the monk does his spinning attack, you block the last hit with the shield and counter with it. You can use it to counter the mortal blade and isshin's weird wind attack.

I did this thing probably about 5 or 6 times before I beat it except I was playing without kuros charm and demon bell on so I still feel accomplished. Probably the hardest thing you could ever do in this game.

There actually is one slight dialogue difference that I have noticed. After resurrecting in the mortal blade cutscene, if you have the Shura outfit on, the divine child will say "Your eye" instead of "Your eyes" because the Shura outfit covers up Sekiro's right eye

Hey myth, love that you went back to sekiro if only for one video. There’s a very old From Software game for the GameCube Called Lost Kingdoms that I feel like you’d enjoy. It’s a card based third person action game, Kind of gives a little insight into old from soft games. Either way love the videos and keep it up!
Rewatching your vids and came across this, it’s so good but just if you didn’t know if you use sakura dance for inner geni/ isshin you can reverse the lightning back at them. Still amazing and well done on getting the reward 😅

i think that it should give you ALL the techniques of all the bosses. like lightning attacks, terror attacks, that huge mortal blacde attack from inner isshin or the teleportation from inner father.

Inner Isshin was the easiest of the Inner bosses. Fucking Guardian Ape and his girlfriend were the biggest nightmares in that gauntlet.
Hey myth you could've use the spear to pull out the bug to double the damage to make it a little easier for the headless ape

@@Father_of_Kos maybe because there's no new exclusive final boss that comes at the end of all the game bosses and you have to practice him alone for hours
@@purehollow4460 yep and absolute radiance is way harder than any of sekiro bosses and its 42 vs 17 bosses and you don't recover your health at the end of every fight. But to be honest i find sekiro gauntlet a more fun time then the pantheon.
@@Father_of_Kos it's surly more fun , it's like fighting 17 of nightmare king grimm and pure vessel not a bullshit bosses like markoth or grey prince zote but i gotta say it's still take the same length as the pantheon because sekiro bosses takes a lot longer to beat

Mythy this is why you should read the messages because im pretty sure on the first thing it said for mortal journey that you get nothing and on inner owl if you ever do that again if the red kanji symbol appears you jump the owl if there it is not there you dodge to the left

Dude, I need to give you some love. First off.. I found you because of Sekiro and I absolutely love your videos.. Those first 2 playthroughs of yours were fucking Legendary, I watched them like 6 or 7 times and you made me laugh so much man. The same goes for Dark Souls 1,2,3, Demon's Souls and Bloodborne. I can't wait till you do the Demon's Souls Remake (if you will be doing it). I just wanted to say, that I was SO happy, when I saw you returned for this Update, I hope they add more shit like this or even a story DLC, that would be so fucking sick.
