Of course this is something that not all people are able to do physically, so you can pick an easy one if you want.
      Or You could also write something down you want to say for the wedding and learn it in Greek by heart, they would appreciate it I believe I hope that helps😊

    Why is on Google Traslate the greek word for good evening diferent ?

    • @GreekPod101
      @GreekPod101  Před 5 lety

      Hi +johanson61
      That's because online translators don't always work 100% correctly. It's actually translating "good evening" as "good afternoon" for some reason. Just ignore it and avoid using Google translate! For single words or simple phrases, we recommend Wordreference.com, a more reliable online dictionary.
      All the best,
      Team GreekPod101.com

    It's Greece, Sun is shining all day long. So you can say Καλημέρα, everywhen you want. Αυτές τις τυποποιήσεις, μέχρι τότε λέμε αυτό μεχρί εκεί λέμε αυτό μόνο οι Αθηναίοι τις εφαρμόζουν.

      Hola Ricardo Vega,
      Por lo general el griego no sería muy difícil para un hispanohablante, pero eso depende de cada persona. Tenga en mente que GreekPod101.com usa solamente inglés para enseñar griego.
      Atentamente

      El griego no es difícil, hay que dedicarse un poco todos los días, como todo.

    I just started learning this this week. I started with the alphabet and loved writing them down and speaking them as I went along. I also started the numbers.
    My confusion comes in with words like
    Kalinihta because of the Greek spelling with the ύ & χ in there. Or how adio is spelled αντίο (which looks like Antio)
    How do I know which words substitute letters?

    In Crete, when someone is leaving, we dont say just Καλή νύχτα or αντίο. We say Καλη νυχτα, καλο βραδυ, καλο δρομο, πότε θα ξαναπαντήξουμε;;😹😹. (Im kidding obviously! In my opinion, that was a great lesson)
