Finally a tutorial that just gives me the information that I need to get started instead of a 12 hour playlist of an example project in Blender, by the end of which I forget how to do anything.
Thank you so much!
This is so relatable it hurts a little (a lot)

also you forgot rendering at 16:16
OMG THANKS
only five minutes in and i've already learned more than i did with the donut tutorial
That's weird.
that's because you've watched the donut tutorial. its like going to school and listen the lessons at first then watch it again in youtube its similar to reviewing/ studying.
that's because you've watched the donut tutorial. its like going to school and listen the lessons at first then watch it again in youtube its similar to reviewing/ studying.
Fucking same dude then I forgot some of the things in the donut tutorial
hows itz going?
You literally saved me from failing an entire module at school.
Thank you immensely. Great video format.
what kind of school are u going to?uni?
@@cosminvieriu7719 bro got asked to remodel their entire school
😭
you must have slept though the basics huh
what type of school has 3D modeling subject?
Hands down the best Blender tutorial in the internet, straight to the point, fast without omitting any important details. If this guide would be a little slower would take an hour plus to get it done. I'm not a design expert but I have designed before so for sure these tutorial explain everything you need to know for modeling quite complex objects.
Thank you 😊
.75 playback speed
Yeah I honestly was wondering how it would sound at .75 playback speed, because this (Microsoft Sam?) sounded faster than usual and you can only change the videos playback speed in .25 intervals through CZcams, ya see now.... CZcams has an option on PC and I believe on newer smart phones as of a year or so ago, to change the playback speed of a video by first hovering over the youtube video, clicking the little gear icon, and then you will see the playback speed option to change it from .25 of the original playback all the way to 2x the original.
I realized this sounded kinda rude re-reading it, or like just comes off like im trying to be an ass with my explanation, but that was honestly completely accidental, I wrote parts of it at different times, going back to add certain missed details, I could also just be realllyyyy stoned
This is so motivating. I almost gave up on Blender because of some other tutorials that made me think that I could never do this. I will keep going and add this to my list of skills thanks to you. You are amazing :))
Good luck 👍
Now this is a tutorial. Just as direct as possible no wasting time. Love it, also really nice to rewatch
As someone who was playing with blender before but forgot the shortcuts - this video is a perfect reminder. Thank you!
The ultimate beginner crash course, thank you! I haven't touched blender in so long and I dreaded learning the basics again
Thank you so much, I'm just getting started with Blender and this was a really great overview of the interface and basic tools!
I fiddled around with Blender a bit myself a few weeks ago, didn't get much further than just playing with the starting cube and reshaping it. Thanks for the quick and concise rundown on its basic functions!
I have recently finished building my studio pc and since I have phenomenal spec's I figured I would start modelling for fun again like I did on Blender like 10 years ago. It's so nice to see they have improved the workflow and made it easier than ever before all while providing more features than they used to.... This should be fun! Thanks for the refresher
Exactly what I needed. Going through the quintessential doughnut tutorial which while enjoyable, life got in the way and did not touch if for a month so I forgot some of the basics. This is a great refresher without having to spend hours listening and going over it all over again.
I find that the short tutorials like your compliment longer ones. The doughnut one will teach you the in-depth nitty gritty of 3D modeling but yours keep noobs like myself from getting too overwhelmed by thinking that every project is going to be complicated. .
The donut tutorial is awesome and recommended for beginners as it shows you a lot of fundamentals you'll need through your journey in blender. I'm very happy with the donut tutorial.
This is what I was looking for 100000%. I can't thank you enough. I have slogged through the BG Donut tutorial but it was about a year ago and I just needed a major refresher on EVERYTHING. But I didn't want to go back and spend a whole day doing that tutorial again (although I might later, lol). Your video couldn't have been more perfect.
I am a beginner to Blender. I have been exposed to many tutorials on Blender. Without a doubt you are the best instructor on the subject! The difference is most want to show you what they know, and you teach what you know! Your videos are easy to follow, thank you! I produce tutorial on video editing on CZcams, so I understand what is involved. Thank you for your excellent work!
The fact you gave me some motivation to not click off and actually learn was really helpful. I wanna be a 3d artist but get overwhelmed this video is making it really easy im not done yet but that part really made me smile thank you .
"or you r too lazy to follow the donut tutorial" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😁
@@3dgreenhorn bro i kinda get this feeling that u will grow fast now becaue of this short tutorial and also u were recommended to me...so congrats in advance
@@COSMO8843 haha thanks, that's good to know. I'll be uploading more.
Exactly
Lol I've done both. 🤯i'm not good at this.
Just started learning how to use Blender and this helped a ton, thank you.
I had a mini-breakdown over blender because I was unable to figure out the UI despite looking at other tutorials. Your tutorial is immensely helpful. Instant subscriber!
Thank you very much this tutorial helped me so much I watched many other tutorials and was completely confused but you explained everything in a very simple way. Thanks a lot :)
Great blender tutorial overview! As a beginner, having a video like this to quickly refresh things is extremely helpful!
This video is a 'go to' whenever I forget something, thank you for keeping it fast and objective! There's so many tutorials out there that keep stalling us to get that view time, this is a service to mankind!
haven't touched blender since school 5 years ago and this just what i needed to get the hang of it again! thank you so much!
Thank you! This was so helpful to re-learning stuff I had forgotten previously, and also to get used to Blender's new interface compared to when I previously learned it.
Just recently started using Blender and have been checking out various tutorials.
I learned more in your 20 minutes than a couple hrs worth of other videos. Thank you!
Simple and to the point. Earned a sub. Keep up the good work.
how far have you gone now?
Thanks a lot for all the value everyone (me included) can find in such a perfectly done tutorial on 'blender'. Absolutely worth watching until the very end.
This Blender tutorial was exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted Blender Guru's Donut Tutorial series halfway and it was too difficult to keep track of, but this was concise, simple, and direct. I will be rewatching it time and time again to remember all of the shortcuts (there's not getting around that, Blender just has too many ;-;) but for a starter tutorial, this was stellar.
Thank you!
tutorials such as 10 hour long donut one are the reason I avoided learning Blender for years :(
same here
Thank you! Booking marking this so I can come back to asset library once I have a heap of my own user meshes, if I'm saying that right. This was extremely helpful. I'm like 4 days in on blender!
Hands down the best tutorial on youtube about basics of blender! Straight to the point! In other videos it takes 20 minutes just to tell you how to resize....... But this, this is Awesome! Good job! i had to log in to my account on youtube JUST to subscribe to you Sir! Thank you!
Definitely one of the most in depth tutorials I could find I will try to use these next time I go to clas thank you 😊
Man, I can't thank you enough! This is my 1st time opening, blender (And Actual doing something on it), and thanks to you I learned a lot in under 18 minutes (Over course, with pauses and rewinds)!
This is the greatest blender tutorial I have ever seen and it has helped me so much. Thank you!
So I'm definitely an absolute beginner to making 3D animation. I do have interest in it. I have tried other tutorials with Blender. While it's still hard for me to grasp all the things you went through here on my own I feel like your tutorial has been the best in terms of someone like myself. Your tutorial definitely helped to make Blender a little bit more understandable. Even a little bit counts in my opinion.
Thanks for the Video! I'm currently learning Blender because i want to become a game artist, and this Video helped me out so much! Easy explained and a great narrators Voice! 👍
Thank you so much for this video! I tried using blender 3 times in the past and gave up because they were too complicated. Yours was the first I saw that was direct to the point and easy to follow. I hope you have a good one! 💕
Thankful! Thank you so much for the superb Blender Tutorial. It's so clearly explained making me much more confident in venturing into the jungle of learning Blender. Thanks again for spreading the knowledge & skills !
Thank you so much for making this the easiest tutorial to understand as a newbie!
Thanks, this was everything I needed to know about Blender basics without any extra fluff wasting my time!
OMG you're the best blender tutor ever. However, the fact I had been struggling with other complex tutorials before so ik basics a lot, that has helped me to understand so much of what you're saying. Thank you
This tutorial is amazing. Not a second wasted. Thanks!
While I think it's impossible to learn any art in 20 minutes. This is a great start. Good tiutorial to introduce folks into how amazing blender can be. I find your straight to work tutorialso great. Your room tutorial is great. I suggest folks to explore with blender along with this video.
Nice blender tutorial. Will probably have to rewatch once I forget something but everything is timestamped and very concise so its super easy to re-watch. Thanks so much!
The best and easiest video I've found for understanding this level and range of information. Subscribed and looking forward to more.
No bs, straight to the point, subbed and liked!
Def the best tutorial for blender I’ve seen so far, without a doubt.
“Blender!” Haha. Thank you for the mention and link! Great video!
Also thank you for the well explained asset browser tutorial 😊
I've watched 20 minutes of this Blender tutorial, with Blender opened on my second screen, trying to follow each step... I feel like a noob even though I've been using Illustrator professionally for almost 30 years! It's refreshing to feel this bad at something after so many years of being a pro in an adjacent field, thank you!
This video was a great refresher for me. I haven't touched 3d software in years, and wanted to get back into it. This was a big help.
Great channel, I started blender with the donut Tutorial 1st december. Then moved here, I learned a lot with some options that I ( of course as a beginner ) not aware of, and the way to "think" how to model simple things. Keep it up !
Thanks
imagen all the people who are broke and got the free version of blender with no tutorials and no idea what to do (me)
Same here. 😢
THIS is what i needed. I used to have zbrush and other industry software when I was a student so I know how to model but good god blenders UI drives me insane. All the core tools I need in one video. thank you!
Thank you so much! I've been getting a lot of stress trying to learn how to use the basics of Blender. Again, Thanks.
I've used blender around 8-10 years ago and eventually quit. It's amazing how far it has gone in terms of UX design
nah "we can make her a cute monkey or a cruel dictator" got me
No BS and straight to the point. Love it!
Best beginner tutorial iv watched, and iv been wanting to use blender for a while now but the “BEGINNER” videos weren’t so beginner friendly. Great video. 👌🏽🇿🇦
This was good but too fast. Beginners will have a hard time with such speed.
The blender class was so cool and informative. I liked it. You explained everything very simple and fast
This by far is the best 3D tutorial I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing!
Just starting with Blender and this was a HUGE help, thanks!
This is like the only tutorial that I learn stuff from and can be bothered to watch it just helps so much I definitely recommend this btw thanks
unironically this helped me alot in blender. 3 weeks in and this tutorial is absolutely phenomenal. thank you!
This is the best tutorial I ever seen! No trash talk for 15 min just to show how to cut object like in other tutorial video. KUDOS!
8:28 - I have hunted days for this, and it is very well worth the hunt. Thank you. Much to learn from this, but at least I have somewhere to start now.
The hallmark of a great tut: I keep going back to this tutorial OVER AND OVER bc it just KEEPS ON GIVING
Thank you so much, I'm a new one to using blender and your tutorial really helped in learning the basics of the app
Thank you for the brief basics, there was over basics I hoped to know like the unlinking of duplicates to edit separately
I downloaded Blender like a year ago, was completely overwhelmed and deleted it. I’m glad I decided to redownload it, your video was extremely helpful in making this program understandable.
The best blender tutorial I’ve seen! It is exactly what I needed.
Fantastic tutorial, way above the rest. Clear from the first moment on Thanks a million
blender! Thank you for your amazing tutorial. It took me several hours as I was following alonga nd trying out everything and rewinding and taking notes. Absolutely excellent
Thats helped a lot thank you sharing for us 😍You are good teacher!!
Wow, I was pretty intimidated to learn Blender twenty minutes ago, and now I'm excited to get started. Thank you!
Thank you very much! I learned more about blender in this last 20 minutes than in the last few months
Thank you. Had not heard of Blender. Great overview. Wanting to generate 3D models for CNC carving and Blender seems like a wonderful tool.
im really experienced modeling in Maya but an absolute newbie in Blender, this really helped so thank you!! Now i just need to practice and get used to the strange new UI pfft
Thank you so much !! I'm a maya user for 6 years and blender was to different for me to understand, your videos showed me everything i needed to know i order to to stuff into blender,
You're a hero !
Hope you'll love blender 😊
I am far more comfortable learning with this well put together blender tutorial, vs ones I couldn't sit pass 10 minutes to view. This video makes the learning retention much more achievable.💜✨️
Superb explanation created my first ever render within minutes, this video shows that you can create something easily within a short period too.
Ok, this was an amazing video, I had to pause now again for the info to digest, but everything relevant and excellent. Thank you good sir, I have subscribed. Coming from 3ds Max, this was so needed.
I think this is the best tutorial ive ever seen, i saw a lot of tutorial about blender but they were too hard or i didnt understand them so i quited with blender :(, but i decided to collab with some game developers and i needed to be modeler so i found this video about blender and this video is very simple and useful so now i can make modells very easily, thank you.
This was a good recap of the tools of blender for me. Thanks
I genuinely learnt many things from it. Especially a in the interface part. I had no idea how to split editor
Thank you for this awesome video. It allowed me to start creating after watching several tutorials previously.
Wow!!!! At last! That's what I need. The best Blender tutorial for beginners!!!
This is the BEST Blender tutorial in CZcams. In 18 minutes you are learning much more then any of the other Blender tutorials out there.
Thank you
Thank you so much for such a usefull video. Keep us posted on your next course please!! 🙏🙏🙏👌❤️
Launch - 1st week of Jan
Level - beginner/intermediate
Type - Modeling course with importance to topology
Project - 5 stylized rooms with around 50 objects
There were a few thingsin this video i didnt know so thank you. It was very informative
This is pretty cool! I was somewhat into modeling about 16-17 years ago, (not professionally), i mastered the original Z-Modeler back then, it was pretty basic, but it was all i needed. Now i'm planning to get a 3d printer, and i need my rusty skills refreshed, and wow Blender is pretty awesome! You can do a bunch of stuff in a few minutes that took back then a whole afternoon! It's pretty crazy actually!
Edit: Great tutorial btw, its as clear and comprehensive as it can be, exactly what i was looking for! 🥂
literally for a long time i was roaming around different tutorials but this one helped me in real time. thanks
i really needed this to enhance my models in my research, thanks!
Blender - absolutely great. Thank you! Encourages me to really get into it!
this was extremely helpful as beginner. thank you
This is my first ever comment on a youtube channel! You were soo on point. Kudos! Thank!

Best video EVER on this subject. Thank you sir!.
Hands down the best beginner blender tutorial on YT!!
best blender tutorial ive seen so far! thanks for the help!
this is helpful, i picked up blender yesterday because i wanted to unload my rage on some low poly 3d objects, now i can do it with class
I almost frustrated with how to start learning Blender, and this video shows up in my CZcams search. Thanks a lot, you save my time. 😃
