i'm from Syria and this song is sooooo true and i wanna say something i was reading the comments and a lot people hating and stuff and saying things is not true.
when we started the revolution we wanted the Assad to leave but now even if he left noting is gonna happen because many counties supporting different sides and the war between the people won't stop unless if the other counties stopped giving them weapons for free so they kill each other and what is really happening right now at Syria all the the destroyed houses the other counties rebuilding them like (china, Iran, Russia..ect other counties) and they sell you your own house and if you said that was my house they say (we build it again you have no right for it anymore) just like what happen to my house they rebuild it now we don't have a house we have to buy it and there is a lot of things going on...things haven't been said...

Agree, both options are bad, but let's say Assad is the lesser evil because only with him Syria would remain secular. Maybe it's just better to leave them alone. I'll always love TANKARD, but this is just reactionary commentary that doesn't really add up to anything. This band's lyrical commentary used to be bigger than just complaints about the latest "blues news." Gotta give these old guys credit for dishing out the musical chops, though.

Sollten mal besser ein Lied über Minderjährige mit grauen Vollbärten machen, die von uns vollalimentiert werden und zum Dank in der Provinz kleine Mädchen messern. Hätte auch einen deutlich zynistischeren Unterton, was Tankard gut zu Gesicht stünde.
