I love Subaru but spare parts are a problem after market. I own a Subaru Outback and a forester XT but the parts aren’t budget friendly.
How or where do you buy spare parts?
i tried a subby car from a friend, i tried and love it, but he said the spare parts are hard to find
@@Saratoga5mm Your friend just don’t know how to find and where to look. It’s very easy to find parts online.
BANAWE! Which is located here,.Along Quezon Ave is the place to be if your going to look for some spare parts for your car,,..But yeah just like this car you could always find it in their showrooms or of course there in BANAWE on a much cheaper price too that won't put a hole in your pocket
@@joshcastillo141 some are found there but mostly it’s hard. The gearbox of my outback still has no stock or still has no replacement and they’ve searched from Banawe, Evangelista, and Navotas. Yet we’re still trying and even the mechanics from Subaru are still trying to find a surplus. The new gearbox costs a wooping P600k atleast and a surplus is atleast 250k. That’s how expensive it is to maintain 2 Subaru but they’re good. Fuel efficiency nah. That’s where they need to improve plus the designs.

I live in Japan so see quite a few of these around and have decided that the car looks best, IMHO, in a darker colour which doesn't contrast so much with the black plastic. Dark blue, dark grey metallic and black seem to work best.

The look certainly grows on you, but the Wagon is the nicer looking one for me haha
I understand what Caco meant when he said the steering does not give back much resistance and feedback. I've test driven my friend's previous gen WRX and the steering felt really light, almost like you're driving a race simulator.

Hi,could you please include in your review cost of mentainance expenses-10kms- 50kms or more since this is very important in having a great car,
I've test driven this one. It handles well. As for power, a bit better than the Forester XT.
I dont know people hate the design but for me i like it.

Di na magre-release ng STI na ICE ang Subaru. EV na ang STI na irerelease nila. Last ICE STI na yung VA.

These cars are not intended to be budget friendly talaga, it keeps them exclusive to well-heeled people.
Pansin ko palaging concern ng mga tao yung price ng parts na available naman. Magreklamo po tayo if hindi available ang parts. Apparently ang problema pala is hindi available ang pera. These cars are serviced by good casas and are moderately reliable anyway. No budget edi buy something pangmasa.
Um, I'm not "well-heeled" here in the US. Mine was a bargain at $32K vs. the other cars with this performance, esp. since I just bought the Base model. And this is the easiest clutch that I've ever driven!

i have a 2023 manual, this is the car for the driver only. Its hard and wife hates the rides... she prefers Type R it has more power and torque and most of all its very comfy....

Thats hefty of a price in the US market thats only around $32,735 which is rounds to 1.769..not 2.7M Over price again when it comes to PH market..they always think PH market are idiots probably some who wants to show off or have money yes..but it the US they barely on the road and some laugh at new version since a knock off version of Honda civic specially the back tailight and more plastic cladding..they need to stop jacking the price way too much and give PH market a reasonable price..

@@stebopign I understand even US has more taxes in everything they purchase..considering japan is more closer than the US we should having more taxes than PH..I just think its all about the government and dealer since they know PH market are fanatic of JDM’s they will buy regardless… since the stigma never dies on those who are fanatic of Japanese made vehicle..Im not bashing on JP cars since I owned a civic myself..just more towards PH market are being rigged when it comes to prices
Gotta love people comparing prices to American standards. Singaporeans have it much worse sa pricing. The problem is not gullible Pinoys, as Subaru has a good reputation anywhere. Consider that there is no Subaru plant in the Philippines unlike in America where cars are cheaper because of assembly planes and trade agreements.
@@CrossCuntyRic I understand were you coming from its just why cant they do the same thing with the trade/import agreement since JP is closer in the PH than US that could be more reasonable to be less cheaper considering they were built in Gunma, Japan..like other car brands less features and more overprice compare to neighboring countries..just my two cents

Unless you're an idiot who thinks he's Colin McRae, you're not really supposed to take it off-road. However, it is capable if the situation calls for it. Subaru has tremendous rally pedigree after all.
Hindi lang kasi uso rally cars at road dito satin. Alanganin mga kalsada natin. sa ibang bansa may mga kalsada silang mas patag na offroad.
Those rally cars aren't stock, different engine different suspensions. Don't let them fool you into thinking that is the same Subaru that they rally with. @@thetrustysidekick3013

The original Subaru that rivaled the Evo looked much better than this. This looks like a shorter version of the Crosstrek.

hydrogen is not the future, it's just the same as EV but very inefficient, because of too many step just to use "electricity" to extract the hydrogen, and use electricity to store and transport the hydrogen. and use the hydrogen to power an engine or electric motor.
Batteries are getting cheaper and Gas prices are going up. EV is the future, and it will be toyota's and other japanese automaker's downfall.
