In today’s episode of their podcast, Caiah and Mpho again unpack topics in a way that is both honest and informative.

I feel like being married is 1. A God thing, 2. a calling, not everyone is called to it, 3. An image of the Jesus and the bride. However a lot of us are trying to do it without the creator of marriage and without the being it represents. The moment we look at what the original idea of what marriage is, first we wouldn’t be entertaining of things, being using marriage loosely and you would actually know it’s hard, yet a beautiful thing, a sanctifying, holy process and the most sacred and intimate thing God has ever created. And to reach the level of intimacy that we all crave it needs to honour the one who created it❤

This is marriage through the Christian lenses, beautiful, and yet I don't think marriage is a calling. It can never be a calling but a commitment. The apostle Paul's words on marriage give a vague idea of what it is.

Long topic for today is 🔥 I've been there for 4years, guy introduced m to his family in a matter of 2months. Asked m to pray for us daily. Soulties almost killed m Koz I became so connected to em that I could feel when he's being unfaithful, sexual activite. I was literally on that relationship alone Nd fighting battles. I was in my first year in university. 5years later still not finished WD my studies Nd lost bursary...I went back to Christ let em go Nd gathering Lil pieces again. God is good all the time
I had a boyfriend who wanted to have kids first then marry me after, hearing that it’s being marriage baited, makes me sad. Men really do what you guys have mentioned. I’m glad that I got out of the relationship because of the principles I live by, no man that loves me would bait me♥️really love y’all sooo much and continue spreading the word of God and his wisdom through your topics

33:14 Rewatching this episode, particularly at the part where they talk about marriage baiting because I just realized I was love bombed and a victim of marriage baiting. I literally couldn't understand why I'm still sad about a month-long talking stage that didn't work until I remembered uba the guy had painted a picture too perfect for me to want to get rid of. Guy had me thinking I lost out on a really good guy and he is the prize. I'm still trying to get back to knowing my worth. This is actually really recent you guys, I feel like crying and cussing everytime I think about him. I'm just venting y'all, don't even know if this makes sense. Please pray for me😭. Yhoo! Talking about marriage baiting, I was once married baited and I knew that It was a red flag and he was too good to be true. He told me that he is looking for something that is serious because he wants to get married. His actions said otherwise and so, I removed myself from that equation from the get go. I haven't seen a doctor since I was born, I just hate anything that has to do with hospital. Now that you have mentioned it, I feel like I need to do better.
