I’m such a Pearl Thusi fan man. I feel like part of the reason people are super critical of her isn’t because she isn’t relatable or because she’s “mean” like they claim. I think it’s because she’s never been anyone but herself. So many people have “grown up” in front of us or evolved in front of us and we’ve extended grace to them for the mistakes they’ve made or the meanness they’ve shown to other people but for whatever reason, we don’t seem keen to extend the same grace to Pearl. She’s living her life openly and I admire how unafraid she is of trying new things and expanding her career by going into new spaces. Mind you, she does so well in ALL of those spaces. Very few people can successfully transition the way she has. From model to actress to radio host and now DJ?! I really like her man and hope she continues to do things that are true to who she is without carrying the expectations other people have of and for her.
So so on point girl she is a Bad girl like Queen Latifah said❤❤
