Yet again, the away support was outstanding!! The away fans have more than done their part buy have been let down time and time again with the poor showing on the pitch and awful results.
The good thing is that we're at home against Norwich and when St Andrews is rocking then there's no other place like it. On the one hand I can't wait and think it's going to be the Mother of all of the greatest escapes and on the other I'm already dreading it and fearing the worst, the unthinkable, yet I can't stop thinking about it, and that this is the season that we finally go down.
However erroded that my optimism is, and it really has been chipped away at loads, I will be there. Where? At the end of the road. Birmingham, Birmingham, Birmingham.
Come on you Blue Boys. Lets shit miracles and get our job done first and foremost, the manager in the first instance, and then more importantly than that the players irrelevant of who Rowett picks if he gets it wrong, the players, the players have to stand up and be counted. The fans, we will do our bit, I don't want to hear that the fans need to turn up and do their bit. We the fans have been let down massively by certain players at certain times, by certain managers at certain times and unfortunately, by the owners and Cook at certain times. Where we are is where we are, and we all know why we're here, why we find ourselves in the bottom 3 as we head towards the last game of the season. It's a collection of mistakes (some colossal) but now it's time for someone, anyone to be the 2024 hero and save our season. Step forwards.....
First and foremost we (the team) need to take care of their own business and then we the fans just have to hope that one of the other results that we need to see us stay up goes our way!!
You couldn't write this season. Netflix, Amazon and Disney must all be kicking themselves. But then we don't need them when we have Davo, Davo, Davo.
