In November 2009, during Thanksgiving, the Jones family faced a heartbreaking tragedy. John Jones got stuck in a tight spot in the Nutty Putty cave, which unfortunately turned out to be a dead end. Even after trying really hard for 27 hours to rescue him, it ended sadly.
