Maybe if they include both botw and totk together enhanced it would be alright. I myself am pretty past those games, but they are worth playing again at some time in the distant future for me. I guess we honestly just need a third game in the series now. The Switch 2 being more powerful than the Steam Deck is a great thing, I hope that is the case. The Steam Deck won me over pretty hard, I was already a big Steam fan with a big library. I think they should add achievements to old and new titles, I will usually choose to play a game on Steam for that reason alone if I can. A dream come true for me would be a Steam and Nintendo merge, I know it is not ever likely but I can dream, especially not with the recent gmod content drama.
I don’t know much about the specs but no matter what, I’m still stoked for a new Switch! 🙌

Well actually the series S uses VRAM, which is a faster version of RAM used by GPUs. LP stands for low profile ram. This is smaller version of normal ram found in laptops and mini PC's.
Vram isn't an actual ram design lol, it's what the ram is used for.
Series s uses gddr6 for vram.
Switch uses lpddr4 and lpddr4x (oled) for vram.
Switch 2 uses Lpddr5x for vram.
LPDDR stands for low Power Double Data Rate.
They are all DDR Ram.

@audie-cashstack-uk4881 Ampere doesn't have a L3 Cache, it only goes up to L2. Rdna does, called the Infinity cache so one might think the ps5 SHOULD, but it doesn't, amd removed the infinity cache from all It's APU's.
However because of the much smaller size of the single gpc ga10f gpu compared to multi gpc gpu's like ga102 or even 106, Switch 2's L2 cache should have much much lower latency than desktop amperes.
Knowing nintendo the new console isnt as powerfull as the steamdeck nintendo was always behind tec wise the wii was just a beefy gamecube and it wasnt even 15% As powerfull of its rival the ps3 the wii u just got hdmi and 60fps the switch is so underpowered compared to the ps4 pro and xbox one x so i think they are stll gonna behind tec wise but thats why the speculated DLSS on the device comes in clutch

Good point. But also try to see where they come from. the wii was a risk. Wiiu even bigger risk and the wrong choice and the switch was a smart move. Underpowered but not obvious at the time. The specs for 2017 where just good enough to deliver the message. Nintendo bought some nvida shield leftover chips wich made the 1+1 deal. The battery life was also good. How good is the battery on the steamdeck??. Nintendo also thinks about battery. the gba was 32bit ish. Kinda like the neogeopocket was 16bit ish. Battery life also comes into play. now go from handheld to handheld. Vita vs switch. Take for instance mk9 vs mk11. heck
take mk9 ps3 version vs mk11 switch. You'lle see the generational leap is pretty much there. Maybe not on ps4 level. But in the ballpark of a xboxone base model at best was good enough then to get what they wanted. Seeing doom 2016 running on the handheld was pretty damn cool at that time. Not one handheld system showed these kinda graphics back then.

Voor een handheld systeem in 2017. Graphics die tussen ps3/ps4 zitten leunend naar ps4 en sterker dan een wiiu . Was acceptabel. Ze moesten snel wat na de wiiu en volgens mij hebben ze een prima systeem na gelaten. Kan/kon het beter. Ik denk dat nintendo dat zelf ook wel door heeft.Als ik switch speel denk ik zelf niet aan ps5 graphics. Dan heb ik de nintendo games in mijn kop en om nou te zeggen dat die stuk voor stuk spuug lillik eruit zien,dat zou een leugen zijn. Realiseer je ook dat net als de wiiu de switch ook een leer platform is voor de volgende. Wij kunnen pas oordelen als wij het zien. ikzelf ben groot fan vd switch. Bepaalde games hebben die portable vibe. En ik vind het een leuk systeem voor bij familie of vrienden. Ik en 140mil anderen dus ook.switch staat op het punt om de ps2 vd troon te stoten. Dus een succesvol systeem is het gebleken. Kunnen stellen zelfs erg succesvol. Hij heeft nog niet een prijs verlaging mee gemaakt.
