- Okay I just want to clarify that this is not a Shadamy video... I just want to show the interactions between this two characters during the games(2002-2010).
I know that i like Shadamy, but if you see they don't interact much in the games... But this is not about who would be the best couple, is about the relationship between these two characters whether or not of friendship or romantic or how it would like to see.
Please if you don't like this just don't put bad reviews.

The second scene alone is one of the highest points in Sonic history. The way Amy convinced Shadow to save the world from total destruction is actually in her character. Her kind heart and pure thoughtfulness tells Shadow to go save the world instead of destroying it just like how she reformed one of Eggman's robots in Sonic Adventure 1. Shadow was overcame by greif about what he thought Maria told him to promise about. After having a pep talk with Amy, Shadow realizes that Maria wanted people to be safe from any danger and having this in mind, Shadow goes to join in the fight. This scene does show that Amy and Shadow are more than just a psychic fangirl and a forgeting-who-I-am edgelord. The current games should really take notes from these scenes.
But sadly it seems they really don't pay attention and listen more to the toxic fans. Amy and Shadow are great characters, but people like to show off the crappy qualities therein that exist today. Breaks my heart. Sonamy fans didn't help either seeing as how so many view Amy as "an annoying brat who won't stop chasing Sonic". They depict her as a f***ing yandere. But what no one seems to take into account is that that's not the basis of her character and instead of her being 12, she should've been aged to 15 or 16. But even so she doesn't act that crazy for him in the games. She also has a bit more of a mature figure ESPECIALLY in the games. She's not womanly like Rouge, but geezus give her credit where it's due. 🙄

They talk to eachother in the comics, ALOT. In fact in the comics, Amy is one of the few people who understand's shadow on a personal level, the other 2 being Blaze and Rouge.
Hmm all women that seem to get on with and understand Shadow. I just find that a fun note. I bet Shadow gets invited to their sleepovers whenever they have them. He's just chill to hang out with them.

I'm sure Shadow picked up on Amy's name from Eggman saying it after she hugged him, but it's interesting to note that he hung onto her name and actually used it. In SA2, he calls Eggman "doctor." He calls Sonic "that blue hedgehog" and only bothers to use his name at the end when he respects him. He doesn't call anyone else by name. Not Rouge, not Sonic's friends. Just Maria...and Amy, apparently. Sounds noteworthy to me.
With or without the ship, Shadow and Amy have a unique dynamic, and the games would be more interesting if they played that up more often.

My buddy told me that Amy is Shadow’s heart. Not in a romantic sense but as an emotional support way. I can totally see that. She can be like a moral compass for the guy, which I approve of.
Also, I didn’t know you could do that with them in the Olympic Winter Games spin-off! That is both adorable and hilarious! 😆 😂🤣
That's such a beautiful way of describing these two. She represents the goodness and love in the world.
While I agree for the initial game, Rouge has overtaken that job in both future installments AND Comics. In the Archie comics especially, although Rouge is a flirt, with most other characters there is some ulterior motive, while Rouge treats him somewhere between a prospective romantic partner, and her adorably mopey kid brother and certainly loves when she can get his mopey ass to smile.
And they are good friends after all
I miss this. I think Amy and Shadow would be great friends and Id love to see a dynamic between. When Amy isnt crying over sonic she's honestly a great character. Just look at her relationship with Silver or Cream

And then they decided to fuck up this whole scene in Sonic X. I loved Sonic X back in the day but, the inclusion of Chris as a main character is still unforgivable. Putting him in game scenes he was never supposed to be in was sickening.

Chris reminds me of this one fan that always wanted to be in their favorite show, to be a main character, to be in the spotlight. Those type of people are kinda annoying to be honest.
Yea, the only thing I don't understand about Sonic X (although I loved it) is WHY SO MANY CHARACTERS?!? I mean no offense to anyone who like the human characters but I mostly felt like they took away from the show. Except for Professor Thorndyke and Helen. Hmm..maybe Helen could've replaced Chr-nope spoke too soon 😑
I like to think that Shadow sees Amy as Maria and wants to do his best in protecting her, like how in the Sonic Twitter Takeover, Shadow mentions that he shops at a clothing store called Maria’s because he wants to support a Maria in the world to help make it a better place

you can’t rlly tell bc of the quality of the clip but shadow is actually smiling a little in the first scene. i really like his characterization in this game.. if this was made today shadow probably would’ve been more judgmental and maybe a little bit aggressive but no, shadow here is calm about it and is humored by it,, nice little touch

One thing I've always felt is that Shadow's game would have been a perfect opportunity for them to have more interactions. I think it would have been great to see Amy talk to him and maybe convince him that he's making the wrong choices throughout the game and that she knows what he's like since she's seen him cry. Obviously, they're probably wouldn't be much of a plot if that happened but I always thought what could have been. It's a shame they don't interact more.
If you play the game up to Amy’s stages as the dark path and then from Amy’s stage onward play the hero path, the overall name of that path of levels is called “The Miracle of Love” if that means anything in particular c:
@@sheacorduroy5565 that is very interesting. It makes me think that in that scenario, Shadow meeting with her again made him have another change of heart which is nice. I just wish they interacted more in the game. I feel it was definitely a missed opportunity. I think a great scene would have been to put Amy in the sad ending to replace Vector as I feel it would have had more of an impact.
Hate to admit it but I would absolutely adore the idea of a love triangle between Sonic vs Shadow over Amy. A sort of foe yet friendship growing

Exactly! I always thought Shadow had a bit of a soft spot for Amy because her kindness reminds him of Maria, and so he wants to protect her like an older brother. Remember when he said he had to keep his promise to Amy? I think that's what it is- simply to protect her and ensure nothing happens to her. I really wish Amy and Shadow interacted more, because she seems to bring out the best in him. :)

No, but he never tells anyone to stay away from Eggman. What they mean is, Shadow has never warned anyone about danger especially from Eggman, but with Amy, he warned her so she doesn't hurt herself.

Gracias por la respuesta, para mi lo “inteligente” no es necesariamente el shipeo, sino darle a un personaje suficiente desarrollo como que tenga personalidad y no sea hueco. Si un personaje está bien desarrollado que este tenga una pareja seria interesante y razonable, aclaró que no estoy ni a favor ni en contra del shadamy, solo entiendo porque les gusta a sus fans y que me parece que en ciertas circunstancias no sería un ship “sacado de la nada”

Shadow and Amy I prefer more than someone like sonic where Amy can't tell he doesn't care for her like that yes he saves her alot but so does Mario when he save peach and is that clear to how she loves him back?
Personally I don't ship them but I love seeing their relationship grow :)
Amy and Shadow give off supportive sibling vibes. I can’t see Amy’s crush on Sonic going away anytime soon, and I bet part of the reason Shadow appears to tolerate Amy is because she reminds him of Maria(as they were both very kindhearted individuals) who was also like a sister to him from my understanding.
