It's pretty awesome but yea like most comments address it's pretty darn expensive compared to other campers, but this also has some extra off-road utility. If money would be no issue I would love to have it.

Very nice but why is the spare tire recessed? Isnt that digging into the square footage? No gun rack or rooftop storage/ solar? Would also like to know the resolution of that thermal imager, those things tend to have a very narrow field of view.

Oh hey CP! Here's what I understand about the new LTi that they make now that answers your questions, first, the spare tire is recessed into the cabin on the camper because there is an option for a bike rack on the optional storage boxes on the rear of the cabin, i assume if the tire wasn't recessed into the cabin, it would obstruct the bike mount. Second, there is optional gun safes under each of the head storage boxes on the bed storage. Third, I don't think there is roof top storage, but this thing appears to have plenty of storage options to accommodate not having anything on top as far as storage goes, also, you can't make something like this too tall otherwise you might have clearance issues when driving under bridges or low hanging tree. Third, solar panels are offered as a standard feature on these LTi models, since charging the batteries purely off the engine would be highly impractical, but if there is overcast for several days or you're Battery runs low and can't charge off solar, there is a system on board that automatically starts the trucks engine to recharge the battery, and the engine will shut back off after the battery is sufficiently charged. And as far as the IRNV camera goes, I can't be certain about that, but I think I remember seeing a video of it in action and it seemed to cover about as much FOV as a standard front facing camera found on some modern vehicles, as well as having good imagine quality to make out exactly what you're looking at.
I hope this answered all those questions you had, and I do not work for ER, nor do I own a LTi , I am giving you information purely off of research I have done on the LTi. I actually plan to buy one of these though, it would make the perfect SHTF bug out vehicle or when the time comes, has all the necessities and more.

I have seen everything I had to see in this 500K rig. It is nice to have this as a toy($ permitting) but not a serious overlander. I'm planning a trip to Africa in coming year and I will not be drive anything this complicated. Everything that you show, winch here, winch there, custom bar, in house etc means one thing, things that can go wrong(and will go wrong). Having parts shipped over to Africa on an immediate basis is as good as buying Suzuki Jimny! Anyway, good luck to people that can buy and ride these things from one "camp" site to the other.

The truck without the camper is gonna be 170k with all the customization on it when you look at the custom panel in the dash that’s all leather wrapped. Some legit money goes into the builds, keep in mind they’re paying labour money to other shops for some things for sure

The work to make it worth it wouldn’t go into it without the camper, but paying other people to do work gets expensive. It’s not likely that they’re doing the build top to bottom. Obviously an f550 isn’t worth 170

@@claytonjohnson4629 its so expensive because the shell of the camper is made of a single piece carbon fiber mold. Meaning there is no cuts of two pieces joining together. The whole shell is one piece.and it's one piece because it provided a more structurally sound cabin, and it's carbon fiber to reduce weight, if someone made this out of aluminum, it would still be tremendously heavy

So much dedicated space just for bowls, plates and cups.
So much wasted space. Two good examples of a proper kitchen for this price range are Unicat and Action Mobil.
Not to mention the “Entertainment system”. Those 4 boxes dont do a whole lot more than the phone in your pocket. A chromecast and some speakers and you’re good to go (if you feel the need to go out in the wilderness to watch tv.)

You’d think with everything made “in-house” it’d be a bit cheaper.
Who uses AGM batteries anymore especially with an induction stove that will pull 2500wats per burner, thats 220amos at 12v, and eat your batteries in an hour of cooking. Not to mention if you are stationary and want to cook three meals.
