It would be awesome if they gave Hope a backbone, and she were to throw his indiscretion with Steffy and the question of Hayes' paternity back in his face. Instead, they will likely have her whimper and scrape for his forgiveness.

Liam can't say anything about Hope kissing Thomas, because he's always runs to Steffy when things go wrong with him and Hope. I knew a few years back that Hope wanted to be with Thomas, but she didn't want to end up acting like her mother (Brooke). That's the first thing "Hope" said when she saw Brooke I'm not like you. Also, Liam seems to be having a nervous break down about Hope and Thomas but he can't see he was wrong for kissing Steffy. It's a double standard once again. And Brooke is trying to make Taylor feel bad about going after Ridge, but guess what she went after Ridge first and Ridge knows it, but he didn't open his mouth when Brooke was accusing Taylor. That's why I feel Liam and Brooke are two- faced. This storyline with Liam and Hope "is" just like Ridge and Brooke storyline this madness needs to stop. Liam is so boring I'm not surprised Hope turned to Thomas, Hope wants excitement in her life. The only problem I don't think Thomas will stay with Hope. Writers let Thomas and Hope start a life together. And let Steffy and Finn stay together. As for Ridge and Brooke get another storyline I'm tired of it. Ridge, Eric,and Liam are wafflers. Also, Bill is too.

Why is it that nobody in this damn show knows who they really want?? They just want who they can't have. For weeks everybody worked overtime to keep Thomas from obsessing over Hope, but Bradley Bell decided that Hope should want Thomas instead. Now that she proved she has at least a little of her mother in her, now Liam will be her destiny and that kiss with Thomas was all a mistake. And Brooke was supposed to be so concerned for an inappropriate interaction between Hope and Thomas that she definitely had to go on the trip to prevent it. But as soon as she got a second chance with Ridge, Hope and Thomas were forgotten. And Taylor, why does she have to be so damn desperate?? She has been begging this man for decades to love her, and for decades he has been showing her that he doesn't. I was laughing so hard when she kept telling Ridge she knew what was going to happen with him and Brooke. She should have added and no matter what happens you will always end up with her, so I'm going to stop humiliating myself now. These love triangles seriously need a rest. Thank God it's almost time for Wimbledon.

The take on Taylor and Finn is something the writers would do,And to be honest I know it wouldn’t be popular with the fans but it sure would be a way to knock Taylor down off her moral high horse,She has been with just about everyone Brooke has and still throws up Brooke’s past,Taylor needs to just get over herself and Ridge and stop being the victim she makes herself out to be,I want Steffy and Finn to stay together but if Taylor and Finn do have a little one night thing then I don’t see Steffy getting past that,You’re so right about Liam he is such a hypocrite after everything he has done to Hope going back and forth for years between her and Steffy,They have been doing a great acting job,Its going to be interesting to see where they are going with each character , I want to see Ridge and Brooke together hopefully it’ll happen for good,Keep up the great recaps.

Personally, I think way too much is being made of this Steffy/Liam kiss. He was angry and hurting and lashed out. Should Steffy have told Finn...probably so it was out there and could be dismissed for what it was a stupid decision in the heat of the moment.
Scott Clifton's acting was on point in these scenes with Hope even if morally Liam really doesn't have a strong leg to stand on given his past ambiguity when it came to Hope and Steffy.
Here's the thing...Hope begging for forgiveness seems disingenuous because I don't think she's really sorry about it. She certainly didn't seem to regret kissing Thomas after the fact. I think what she's sorry about is Liam catching her, but while she can say what happened in Rome is going to stay in Rome whether Liam had caught her or not that was never going to happen because Hope's feelings for Thomas didn't start or stay in Rome. They followed her right back home.
