Ridge ate Brooke up with that “you don’t get to decide where that boy lives,” but seriously she was making the whole situation more about Hope then about where Douglas lives, Thomas wasn’t taking a “second child” a way from her when Douglas was never hers to begin with and also if I recall correctly he also wasn’t the one who stole Beth it was Dr. Buckingham, neither Hope nor Brooke should get to decide who Douglas lives with and taking your ring off just because your grown daughter didn’t get her way for once in her life is a tad bit dramatic.

So getting Beth back wasn't enough satisfaction? I get you wanna "protect" Douglas, but you didn't even have FULL custody of him and you still state that Douglas will remain living with yall. And Brooke making adoption papers behind Ridge's back and expects Thomas to sign them, but then she says "Shouldn't this be up to Thomas?" The hypocrisy of these Logans is so baffling lol.

It was good to finally see Ridge be an excellent father. He chose his children over a woman. This was a good script. Brooke has never been a rational woman.

While it's great that Thorsten's Ridge actually defends his kids instead of siding with Brooke all the time it's in the wrong time. Where was this Ridge in Ronn Moss' day when Steffy's intro for Brooke was tampered with to reveal Brooke slept with Hope's boyfriend? He not only didn't believe Steffy he fired her.
That Ridge was non-existent. Ronn Moss Ridge was too focused on having Brooke's golden vagina to think about anything else.

She celebrated a baby being dead. She said yes the baby is gone so now Liam can come back to me. Completely ignoring the fact that both Liam and Steffy lost a child and she saw it as her way to move in on a grieving man. Hope is disgusting but when Beth died Steffy did no such thing. She empathized with Hope so did Taylor. Taylor even went as far as offering her services to Hope and Brooke.
No one is saying Hope didn't have a right to take her child but it was the manner in which it happened. Steffy didn't get a chance to process anything that happened. Everything happened in a matter of minutes. You are forgetting that Steffy was Beth's mother too. She formed an emotional connection with that baby and then she just had that child ripped from her without a care in the world.
Ridge was right. Hope walked into Steffy's house took what was her and was gone. She didn't think about what that would've done to Steffy mentally and emotionally.
Hope had every right to take her child but Thomas doesn't. What a hypocrite and very double standard.
And there is no real argument here anyways because Hope thought her daughter was dead. Her daughter was kidnapped, sold, misplaced. That completely overrules the misguided moral compass that multiple adults had, by keeping a woman's baby from her for money... vs the fact that Brooke, Hope and Liam were looking out for the best interest of Douglas. Yes, Thomas would have the say so where his son goes. Douglas is HIS. They were wrong to try to keep him there. But I understand both sides. Douglas was happy there with Hope. I also understand Thomas may have wanted to better himself after his fall and be there for Douglas.

And whether Brooke has been right in the past or not, they're still Ridge's kids and you should be very careful about how you talk about them. She, of all people, shouldn't throw stones when she lives in a glass house.Starting such an action behind Ridge's back and hiring a lawyer was the last resort and there are no ifs and buts. It's not Brooke's choice where Douglas lives, nor is he Hope's biological child. She always does all this so that her Hope always gets what she wants. And last but not least, wanting to blackmail Ridge into giving him the ring back reflects her selfishness. How often did his own children have to face consequences in the company but Ricky-boy or Hope had everything thrown at them thanks to Mommy Brooke. The issue wasn't Hope walking in and taking Beth. It was the manner in which it was done. No one gave any consideration for Steffy. If you go back and watch that episode, Ridge was only one concerned for Steffy. Brooke didn't care, neither did Hope and Liam as always said nothing. I am sure Brooke expected Ridge to leave with her, Hope and Liam when they left. Douglas leaned to Hope on his own. Thomas didn't force that. Did he encouraged it? Yes. He encouraged it because Hope gave Thomas solace and comfort. Both Thomas and Douglas were reeling from Caroline's death and Hope eased the pain. Thomas wanted Hope to be Douglas' mother but like he said he wanted that to be WITH him, not INSTEAD of him. Thomas never agreed for Liam to step in and play daddy. That was never part of the arrangement.

That was 100% those two had been living as mother daughter for close to 8 months. What did you think Steffy's response would've been. How was she gonna explain this to Kelly. How was she gonna explain to her that Phoebe was gone now forever. There was a better way to do it. They could've given Steffy at least a day or two process what happened. Hope could've moved in with Steffy and made a nice, easy transition. Remember Beth has only known Steffy for the last 8 months. She doesn't know Hope. Hope is a stranger to her. Beth has a routine with Steffy. Steffy knows all of her likes and dislikes, Hope doesn't. Ridge is right. That whole situation could've been handled better. Hope didn't care. Hope walked in took what hers and left. She didn't give a damn about Steffy, a woman who showed enormous empathy for her when Beth had supposedly died. Hope was within her right to take Beth but Thomas wasn't within his right to take Douglas.

Beth was stolen , again we all know not by Steffy . But she was stolen . Douglas was not . Thomas endeared Hope to Douglas so that he could force a marriage out of her . And when that didn't work out , he yanked him away from Hope . As for Liam 'playing daddy' , what was Thomas expecting , when Liam and Hope lived together at that point ?
@@fundiswa4026 No those situations were not different. Hope has no parental or legal claim over Douglas. By law Douglas is Thomas' child. What did Hope expect. What she actually expected Douglas to remain with her. You don't want to be with his father but you still want the man's son. Does that make any sense. Also Brooke had no right to stand there and demand that Thomas sign over custody of his son to Hope. That's his son regardless. Thomas had good intentions behind what he was doing. Did he go about the wrong way? Yes I will admit that. His heart was in the right place but not his head. It wasn't about breaking up Hope and Liam's marriage, it was about finding a mother for his son. Thomas knows what it was like to not grow up with a mother and he didn't want his son to experience the same thing. Like I said Hope helped ease the pain and Thomas was grateful for that but Brooke as always made everything an issue. She was still believing in this Hope and Liam destiny, soulmates nonsense. No other man is good enough for Hope but Liam. Liam is not Douglas' father and its the reason why Douglas treats Liam so coldly in the current episodes. Douglas knows Liam hates Thomas and Douglas doesn't like it. He goes on and says all these derogatory things about Thomas and he thinks it's okay. Thomas had every right to take Douglas. The way I see it, you don't want me then you don't want my child. You can't want to say you hate me and you want nothing to do with me and in the same breath you still want my child. It doesn't work like that.

Hope having her baby back wasn't the issue. Ridge's issue was the manner in which it was done. Steffy was a victim in this just as much as Hope was and she suffered the most. The situation could've been handled better.
