I’m excited for this one 🔥🔥 🥊
👍🏼🥊
You got some pretty impressive gloves yourself. Fly gloves are sick 👍
@@sugarray6250 thank you they are my favourite pair by far ! 🥊
Good review, congratulations on 27k subscribers
Thanks brother
Received my gloves this week, the identical model, 16oz as in the review. I understand your review is now three years old. They must have taken notice or you were just really unlucky as mine are perfect. All the stitching is 100% on point and there are no manufacturing faults that I can pick up on at all. Great gloves, highly recommended.
👍🏼🥊
Hey would love if you could review the Adidas Adispeed lace up 16oz as I see Terence Crawford using them for pads and sparing. Love the channel 💚
Thanks brother I’ll check them out
@@csquaredboxing thank you looking forward to it
I see your testing a new bag!
Yessir!
Between the superare s50 vs adidas tilt 350 vs rfx guerrero p4p vs phenom sg210 vs fly x vs winning ms600 which is the better sparring glove in order from higher to lower? Please 🙏 let me know I would greatly apreacite it, thank you Carlo.
Carlo. Are you gonna do a review on that aqua bag behind you? Love the review btw, keep up the great quality content and consistent vids. 🥊
Yes I will be, just breaking it in a little more and review will be up
@@csquaredboxing thanks. keep up the great work.
Will you be reviewing the mike Tyson black leather boxing shoes Carlo?
Great vid as usual! Without sounding weird what is the dimensions of your hand? Length and circumference? This would really help when choosing sizes of the gloves you test. Cheers
Its in the description
Between these or the rival rs1 ultra 2.0 sparring glove? Which one is better? Which one is more broken in/ comfortable and more pillow like?
hi wonderful review.one thing I see is that the right has a deeper blue from the left. (I may be wrong).
Thanks
What are the best Thai boxing gloves regardless of $. The very best top of the line brother. Please reply as currently these are my top choice
i ordered jaxon gloves back in nov. last year still haven’t received them might have to get a refund
what’s more comfortable or better overall these or the original hde-fs
My old boxing coach, god rest his soul he’d say “if you can afford gloves like that you don’t need to box in the first godamn place”
Lol he didn't believe in boxing as art. Lol but that's just a matter of opinion
@@konpoy he probably HAD to box because he had nothing else, so he thinks that anyone spending $200+ on a glove like its nothing is probably privileged enough to not risk their health
@@konpoy buddy I grew up using my brothers everlast 16oz power locks with the mesh palms with no-more mesh on the thumbs from over the years. If you can afford expensive gloves and you’re trying to compete you probably shouldn’t be doing this competitively 😂 training is cool but taking all the damage isn’t worth it if you don’t gotta take it for a living
Lol
@@_aarondiazzzz that’s your opinion. I started late and box only for training purposes. I spat my friends who are trying to go pro. It’s not a waste at all, and saying people shouldn’t box cuz they can afford nice food gloves might be the dumbest thing I ever heard
I had the same issue with the flap on the inside of the glove, same position by the index finger. Once I start hitting I don't notice it but you definitely pick up on it putting it on.
Yeah seems to be a QC issue
Hey brother long time viewer and first time commenter , would you prefer these gloves for sparring or the RS1 ultra sparring gloves 2.0? Overall which is the better gloves in your opinion?
I prefer these because of the hand ergonomics and padding
Hey Carlo
What would you recommend for a slim profile sparring gloves for a decent price?
The adidas adi-speed,phenom SG-200, and Rival RS100 are all great gloves
New to boxing and been watching your vids. Thanks for your work. Should I get one pair of top notch all round 14oz gloves for both sparring and bag work (like winning or fly 14oz) or should I get a specific 12oz bag glove (like rival RB10) and another specific 16oz sparring glove?
best would be to have 2 sets of gloves with a dedicated set for sparring when you’re ready. But to be honest, it might be a while before you spar and I started out with a pair of 14 all around gloves for a while before I got sparring gloves and headgear
@@Maximalisms Thanks. For bag gloves, I'm considering the 12oz Rival RB10. However, I've seen some videos like this and others that show Rival quality is dropping, and I'd rather not hassle myself with paying return shipping costs.
@@Maximalisms ANother reason maybe better to get two gloves is my sparring glove might be better a Thai glove, as I'm doing MMA sparring sometimes with big gloves and sometimes with small.
Don't get too hung up on weight - rival for instance use weight as hand size indicator - the padding is the same thickness.
Theyre also different depending on the type of glove. Again using rival - 16oz sparring - 14oz bag - 10oz fight - xl.
If possible get yourself to a shop and try on different brands as hand size varies per manufacturer as does hand shape. What might be comfortable to you wouldn't be comfortable for someone else.
As for the number of pairs - if budget allows get at least two types - proper soft sparring gloves and hard bag gloves. Using bag gloves gives better feedback on your knuckles, allowing you to be more accurate and improve your striking. The soft sparring gloves can be used on the bag for when your hands might be a injured or the bag is as hard as concrete.
Some gloves are more "universal" in that they have "medium"padding which helps with feedback and longevity but at the detriment of your sparring partner.
Ideally all three types have their uses and now that I have found the "correct" glove for me (through trial and error im afraid) I have all three types in my bag.
@@Daniel-cp2ps Thanks so much for your wisdom mate. I will def go with the 2 pair strategy!
Padding for these softer than Sabas Pro Series? Hand compartment bigger or smaller than Sabas Pro Series? Thanks for the great reviews!
About the same
For 280 bucks,I’d rather put on another 50 bucks on top of that and get winnings.💯
Winnings are closer to 4-500 bucks for a pair. If you look at the website the base prices are for 8 oz. When you change it to 16 its far more. Winning is not bang for buck they charge up the yahoo like other Japanese based companies like Nintendo. Plus I believe they are pro gloves so if you spar and hit the bag in them they probably won't pass inspection for comp. These are much better value, just not a lot of street cred
Can you review one of those eBay sparring set from Pakistan? I think it comes with headgear, gloves and groin protector together
I’ll check them out
would you recommended these gloves if these were your only gloves for training would they hold up for example a heavy bag
Yes for sure
Can you review the Everlast Pro Style Training Gloves, they are around 30$
I already have
Can you please review the Venum Contender Boxing Gloves?
I’ll add it to the list
Hi bro, Is the Venum Giant 3.0 10oz bad for heavy bag training at home?
I'm around 62kg
No, they’re solid gloves
Can you maybe do review on 'venum hammer pro loma gloves' edition?
I’ll check them out
QC aside overall do u prefer guerrero bag gloves or sparring gloves and why?
Bag gloves, because of the consistency of the padding and it’s more compact fitting
Damn, those goofy stitches are a real shame... they look nice and are bang-on weight.
I think I've been gone too long.. whend you get that aquabag? ..did the diy-Buoy die?
Agreed. Nope, just a new bag to review
Love Rival but their quality control sucks! My pro fight gloves came with the stitching miss placed on the lower wrist Guerrero logo, paint drips on the knuckle surface and material fraying 🥊 clear why they can sell gloves for a lot cheaper
Agreed man they need to do better
You should review the Anthony Joshua Gloves
Maybe in the future
What is better for training/sparring the sf-h or hde-f
Hdef
should i get the phantom uk boxing gloves
Over these yes
Do these have the neoprene grip bar for the fingers like the RS1 and Phenom?
for comfort in sparring, these or fly super lace x
These

Woah! That stitching is super wonky! 😳😱😳😱😳 I'm surprised! Sure they're real bro? 🤔 😂 Jkjk
In your opinion would this make a good Muay Thai glove ?
No
Why ?
Check out Zaragoza boxing gear
👍🏼🥊
I have a pair of both the rfx fight gloves and rfx bag gloves and the quality is terrible. The leather is poor, the stitching is poor, the logos are coming off, the stitching is pulling apart in high stress locations.
I have other various rival sparring gloves (rs100, rs2v 1 & 2) and they're all fine. Its just the rfx that seem to have issues.
But for my hand shape they're the most comfortable glove I've had, particularly the thumb.
With regard to phenom - I'm convinced they're the same manufacturer / design. Even the head guards are almost identical.
Yeah man agree with your points
Wish I saw this before I ordered my Guerrero HDE-F. Literally the worst pair of gloves I bought. Stitching is off, laces were frayed and coming apart, Rival printing was off, deep crease on the front knuckle of left glove, and the liner inside was so loose it felt like it was coming off around the fingers. Emailed customer service with Rival boxing Canada and they said their R&D saw nothing wrong with the gloves and would not refund or exchange for new ones. Very disappointed. Never buying Rival again. Very poor quality control and even worse customer service.
Just saw this comment and I’m nervous. Also got the HDE-F and am not pleased with them. I contacted their support team and they said they’re fine with doing an exchange but very lightly mentioned “once passes their inspection process” which makes me wonder if they’re going to pull that out on me
Wish I had money to buy better gloves damn
Save up
Rival always had problems with quality control. Really overpriced gloves. Better to buy Cleto Reyes, Phenom oreven Fairtex.
Agreed
The quality still looks good it's just that the person that should have been inspecting for this must have been at lunch.🤷🏻♀️
TBH the left and the right looks a little bit different other than the flaws. The leather on your left looks more wrinkle in the finger area and the edges. I guess the two might not be made by the same person. It feels like some people make the left hand and some people make the right hand and in the final stage some one put them in one pair. Otherwise there should not be such an obvious difference.
No doubt good eyes
I picked up on that as well, also thought the thumbs were a bit different in shape compared to each other. Good honest solid review as always!
9th😂
Lol
