It is just so strange to me that someone would think to just bring all the cards they had stolen to a card shop all at once! Makes me rethink all of humanity lol! Thanks, Rev!
Obviously haven’t heard of Facebook buy and sell if it’s stolen sell it there duhh
it wasn't actually brought in, the buyer of the stolen cards from the thief contacted the shop to sell, the shop wanted them in hand to verify they aren't fake,, they shipped them to the shop, watch rattles video where he actually spits thefts
Do you know what is worst? that this is how that person got caugh, but to think how many others around have done it succesfully overtime

It's really sad when you think about. All he had to do was sell the cards a little bit cheaper on a bunch of different sites. This guy could've, single handedly, reduce some of the cost of those cards and added more to circulation as well. He screwed it for everyone, including himself. lol
Crazy to think that if they just waited and slowly taken their time to go to different card shops and traded them in they most likely would have gotten away with it

I just think it's wild. The stones this person had to just put everything on the table and to think it wouldn't get back to The Pokemon Company is insane.

I really really liked this set! I got great cards but could never hit that gengar vmax alt art. I'm going to blame the guys who stole the cards from the factory now 😆

This is especially disheartening as someone just getting back into the hobby. Fusion Strike immediately jumped to one of my favorite sets because of those incredibly awesome chase cards. Such a bummer. Thanks for the info Rev!
Trepp when I first heard of this I was actually very pissed off at the pokemon company for selling tempered products! But Rev mentions a good point that this only happened to one factory and the amount of cards stolen probably add up to 1% of the total hit population. So fortunately we probably didn't even get affected 😅

I opened many.... many packs of this set. It is more than frustrating to see a table filled with stacks of cards we never pulled after spending so much money trying to get at least one of them. It burns a hole in my heart thinking that at least one of those cards could have been in our binder.
The really frustrating thing about this is we'll never really know the FULL story, like, assuming they're stolen, when they stole them changes things, and at what point in production, and over what length of time

I don't think he thought it through, he tried to sell so many all at once. If I was him I would've sold the cards at different places. Of course if you do work for Pokemon, please don't steal the cards! Also, I love your videos PokeRev, keep it up with the uploads!

Unfortunately just unlucky. Pull rates were not affected so we cant use this as an excuse :/ lol Fusion strike is just an absolutely massive set that's hard to get good hits.

I hope that he really felt bad, for taking any card and we don’t lose hope on Pokémon! They have been improving and bringing great new stuff.
He might actually serve time in jail for that, that was multiple crimes that cost the company money, and if you heard anything about Daddy Nintendo/Pokemon, you do not want to even remotely make them think you did wrong.

I think this definitely did affect the pull rates. Even for swsh the FS pull rates were so bad. Plus that was around the time where they were fixing pull rates and adding trainer gallery cards. Idk

When I opened my first Fusion Strike booster box, all I got was 1 secret rare and a few of full art with some V cards. That was so strange for a $110 box. This makes perfect sense now.

Fusion strike booster boxes have treated me nicely. Iv had two gold power tablets and four of the lower valued alt arts from two boxes
I did a little reading on it. Apparently, Pokemon knew the cards were missing, so they had a press print what was missing for packs. So it seems like Fusion Strike just is a tough set to get pulls from. The guy who stole them is in custody, but what happened to the stolen cards is unknown after a PI took them from the store they arrived at.

I do think this issue might have affected some boxes in some regions however, like you said, without a trainer gallery the pulls are significantly less
I’ve opened probably a thousand packs of fusion strike and only pulled the celebi alt art. It definitely makes you wonder to say the least! Makes me frustrated thinking about it lol
Man this makes me think of the first fusion strike pack I ever opened right after the set releasedand there was a new v alt art inside it. made me think of how long it’s been since that 🎉

With Rattle's video and recent Pokémon statement doesn't sound like pull rates were effected. From the little amount of packs I've opened I've had a lot of luck with Fusion Strike.
Not so smart to try to sell them all at once 🤣 I love those cards, really nice set.
And then let's not forget about the Fusion Strike Error Boxes that were like GOD boxes! As I watched more you clearly mentioned it lol
