Whoever gave this video a thumbs down has no soul. This is one of the greatest moments ever in the Kentucky Derby and I cry every single time I watch this. Ms. Genter was a sweetheart and I'm so happy she was blessed with this moment.

What a beautiful moment. I saw this live, and was touched by it, Now, when I see it, I cry like a lil girl.
Days like that, and Mrs. Genter, is what sports is all about.
Trainer Carl A. Nafzger (born August 29th. 1941 in Plainview, Texas) was awarded with the highest honours of two different sports in the same year: In 2008 he was inducted to both National Museum and Hall of Fame Racing in Saratoga Springs, New York and to Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas. Thanx for the memories... derby and the breeders cup. Doesn't get much better
I replay it over and over. Twenty-eight years ago hard to believe.
Me too! A scene like that is unique, very nice and unforgettable!
Best regards from Venezuela.
Classy, an absolute gentleman. And a perfect trainer for a lady like Mrs. Genter.
The most Heart Warming Derby Ever
That was the best ever derby
That was my favorite Derby moment. He didn't get a lot of credit. He didn't have the best stock but won two Derbies. I knew the kid in high school whose family owned Street Sense. Those were good years but the sport has taken a turn. In my view, Slew, Affirmed and Big Red were the last Triple Crown winners.
Approaching the 30th Anniversary of this Derby. Crazy thing is my daughters horse is Unbridleds great grandson!
