And that's a damn shame how they treated those black men that fought in their dirty war. Yeah and the illegals get to jump the border and the red carpet is layed out for them.
We need details, a lot of details!
My dad (a Black Man) was a Marine that was drafted during the Korean War in 1952, he never saw combat, but he was able to use his GI Bill Benefits to get his Masters Degree
I'm wondering how my Pop was able to use his GI Bill Benefits in the mid 1950s after the Korean War, yet your grandfather wasn't able to - MY GUESS is he was located in a segregated state in the Jim Crow South
If the above was true - many Southern Jim Crow States would pay for Black soldiers that had earned GI Bill Benefits to use their GI Bill Educational Benefits at Colleges up North or out West
My guess is that it wasn't THE US GOVERNMENT, but the local Jim Crow Segregated Southern State that blocked your grandfather's educational benefits, since those colleges were still Segregated (once again I'm just guessing out loud)
I'd like to hear these details of how your Grandfather's GI Bill Educational Benefits were blocked - making those kind of claims requires some detailed explanations
I’m guessing State Law because 70-80 plus of age went to school with whites while others didn’t. I think Segregation aka Apartheid was stringently enforced in the Deep South.

Yes! Many of you, continental Africans do feel superior. I have experienced it DIRECTLY particularly with the Nigerians’ ethnocentrism and ethnonationalism while having nothing to show for it in Nigeria proper. I don't know which circle you are or which guys you've been going out with, but you really don't how much respect Africans has for you guys. Look I served with the best black guys in Afghanistan, and we clicked. I've never heard these BS you came up with. Some of us might be idiots, but don't put us all in the same basket girl.
TRUST THAT WE KNOW WHO IS DOING WHAT.
Plz go home clean up your homeland
Great points Phil!
Then he asks for us to go to Africa. Lmbo plz explain.
WHICH IS NORMAL. YOU DONT EXPECT A FAMILY TO JUST LOVE YOU. THERE ARE MANY CASES WHERE AFRICAN AMERICAN PARENTS DISAPPROVED OF THEIR SON BEING WITH A WHITE WOMAN. SO THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM RIGHT.
colonizers are different from black people so yes
No, Ms. Melanin, hatred is hatred. You can't say you love your people and have a disdain for their relationship practices because bias is a form of ridicule and lack of respect for them.
@areasonablethought610 I have no love for the colonizer. And I never will period. I only care about black people. That's it
@@user-hz3tk1bm8z That's bcz of the documented risks that may come with it, which is historically proven, besides majority of African parents would have no problem w their child bringing home a white person, but would disown them if they brought home a Black American..so be fr... besides majority of Black American parents still make exceptions even if they do disapprove...
@@Sthbama09that is not true most African parents do not mind their children bringing home an AA your lying
They call you slaves Akata donk know we're were from we don't know our real name. Very hurtful
Please! I know who my immediate ancestors are and that’s all l care about.❤
I can agree with you because in the UK Nigerians hate the Caribbean people due to being descendants of slaves.
African are tribal people they didn't have unity between each other's
Africans stole f b a into slavery they have nerve
We don't discriminate against Black 🖤 Americans here in West Africa. Stop listening to propaganda from dem folks.
I love the late elder in the intro. We not taking no stuff in 2024 🤣✊🏿🛑
Really?

Both sides have contributed to this issue. I was an HBCU student in the early 80s. Met and befriended several Nigerians. Always respected them and they were amazing students. However their cultural practice of hygiene was different and led to verbal conflicts, insults etc from some AA. As they learned the culture they would adjust. I've personally had to correct several Sisters who were very rude and insulting to them just for approaching them. I've always been raised to know my history, and respect different cultures. Those students are grown now and I'm sure they never forgot how they were treated.
I think ONE African was called a booty scratcher & a hundred others adopted the story as their own 😅Because most of my life 👉🏾 I was infatuated with Africa & Africans, they seemed smart with knowing multiple languages & getting into colleges so easily... I fell for the propaganda of Flat Black & going back home to the Motherland 👀 But after we began delineating & FBA's started telling their stories about how some (a lot) in the Diaspora, make us feel less than & not really liking us 🤨then I started to reflect on my own uncomfortable experiences 😮💨
I've been in & out of the hood my whole life (now, back in)..there's always been wiggers & hispanics being placed here, but I've only seen 1 African family & 1Jamaican in my hood & that wasn't for long 🤔
I must be that one African that was called a booty scratcher along with other very unkind names.
@@ananasvostel It's a good thing that Black American Culture, teaches us that 👉🏾 "Sticks & Stones may break your bones - but names will never hurt you" Because we've been called WAY WORSE than a booty scratcher in Amerikkka & sometimes by our own family members. It's hilarious that so may of you are still hurt by that, but won't tell us any of the other unkind names 🤔
@@ananasvostel There's foreigners in African countries calling ya'll way worst, you'll b fine..
@@Ms_Kymm vice versa one black American woman was called an Akata and all of the single black American jump on it.And most African men don't deal with you because you are very emotional as men

Our destiny is set. We should not concern ourselves with how people think of us, who aren't our friends. How many times have we heard, "All skinfolk, ain't kinfolk." Just keep on moving. Besides, Yah is going to judge all nations that had a hand in our captivity and persecution. Even those who are ashamed of us or contend with us are going to be judged.
I LOVE the Eric Mays devotional! "Who you talkin' to you gon' let?!?!" 🤣🤣🤣
The world looks at them in the same way that it looks at us American black people too. Also our lineage is African and also Caribbean! 👀 It's time to stop the ignorance people.
I love my African brothers and sisters. WestAfrican culture and way of thinking may differ from EastAfricans and Southern/central Africans. FBA may perceive this as arrogance from Africans.
@@seersoftimez To be fair it is actually arrogance majority of the time...
We are not all from Africa we been here look at your Great Great Grandma she's Indian
This podcaster is ridiculous. As if Black folks here can't be mean spirited and say stupid stuff too.
Thank you for this nice show
I just had this conversation literally today with my brother. I agree with her. Granted I don’t want to put everyone in one group. Yet all the Africans I have come in contact with.. I’m good on them. I come out of conversations like I don’t want nothing to do with Africa period.
We don't need you its 1.2 billion black people
THEY ARE JEOLOUS OF BLACK AMERICANS. UNDERSTAND THAT
From my experience. FBA and Africans tend to get along when both are in a foreign enviroment. For example maybe there are both positive and negative experiences in America but…
In the Middle East, Africans and the occasional black Americans that they encounter there is always harmony, curiosity and kindness.
She is not the only one. It's not all of them, however mistreatment comes in many forms and shades. I've been mistreated by FBA and others, it's sad. We ALL need to do better. FBA and foreign. Let's not forget divide and conquer. 😊
Enough is enough....just stop it....playing checkers while them folks playing chess...divide and conquer ..
As South Africans we don't understand this.....we admire black Americans, we've always did.
Black Americans have been dragging Tyla and anyone who defends her on Twitter for weeks.Their issues is how she identifies herself.
Phil, U got to know that the Europeans tell the chiefs that the land may belong to you, but the minerals under the land belong to us. Only a fool would fall for that line. 😮
Many Africans have that colonizing spirit, in other words far away from who they were. Stop that push and shove like colonizers. That's not pleasing and we donot award hatred. We must respect human rights, and nature that's all we have and need.
You black Americans are the number haters of Africans in the US. You guys are always crying about everyone. We don't take you seriously anymore.
Actually they were colonizers of each other long before the Weat arrived. They were enslavers long before the West arrived. We have to stop blaming everything on the white man.
That's why it's so hard. To have financial security with only a job
Sound is low on this video, but I can still hear it.
It's spell hear. Not here.
Don't forget the instigators in your anger
They not like us 😂
They can have trillions a month Africa tripping
It’s super sad to see the exchange that is happening here on this video. Yo. I like what you said “being on code gets things done” and that’s period. Anyone who wants to silly argue and throw insults need to face the truths and focus on the “tangible results” that we all need
I was just like her at one point loved the African culture until I dated one 😂🙅🏾♀️
I have tried to reach out to African American in the name of Obuntu.Majority look down of Africans too this goes both ways.
Majority hear you speak with that African accent and can wait to get in line to treat you as bad as the slave master or the colonizers. This sickness is deep we really need an intervention of some sort otherwise we as blacks are heading for a worse future that even before.
@@bluegoat6323 Most Africans look down on other Africans that goes both ways...
Yes they do. I met some at Sandton mall , the level of looking down on Africans was beyond my surprise...
Phil ,you are right about Africa as a whole- There mind set is confussed . They claim that they are the mother land. I really dont think they believe in the Creator, that has blessed them in more ways than one.
@@margaretwrein9606 you are absolutely wrong you live in a country where religion is not even allowed in your public schools and what country is more confused than the United States
