Do y'all want to see me play more of this game? 👀
Y e s
Heck Yeah!
Always in favor of people playing more of this game
I’d love to see more heh
This game actually looks pretty fun so yeah probably
banger tip: getting hit nullifies all the "hugs" on screen, so you don't need to chase them suddenly with your I-frames
banger tip: moving your player chaotically in rapid circles tends to get you hit in bullet hell games
Definitely play more of this game! It needs as much publicity as it can get!
Anyways definitely check out the contest levels if you're gonna try out the user made levels (totally try mine for sure : ) ), the best of the best are usually in it-
Really looking forward to more (if you do make more)
Also! Some tips! Try to move less erratically when playing levels, unpredictable small movements can be the death of you. A lot of this game is focusing and trial and error!
You are constantly regenerating health, and if you are constantly getting hit, you can take 5 until you shatter. When you are bleeding you are in absolute danger.
The BEST power up in the game is Shield. Do take note that using powerups docks a point, and mods will NOT save your score.
Been a member of this community for a long while and it’s absolutely blossoming with talent. Glad you’re showing it off! :)
Soundodging moment
Sound Rodger has awoken.
this game gets so incredibly INSANE near the end you should DEFINATELY play more. there aren't that many levels that showcase the more pretty, creative, or unquiet mechanics near the beginning because they were released before some of the more interesting mechanics got added but it is 100% worth sticking around until the end :3
i look forward to doing horribly once i get to them then lmao

A few things for you:
> You can take up to 5 hits. The greater muffling and the desaturation effect at 4:44 are warning cues that you're on your last hit. However, you also regenerate health with time.
> Collecting the heart instant fills your health. The heart also acts as an extra hit. Extra hearts count only as bonus points when you have a heart already.
> The growing circle really is the progress indicator. The filled area inside represents how many bullets hadn't turned red from you getting hit.
> Your hitbox is a bit smaller than you are.
> Homing bullets only stay on you for a limited time. This time is only affected by timewarp effects.
> Missing a hug carries the same consequence as taking a hit.
> Many things have official names:
>> The play area is known as the *arena.* The circles outside of it that shoot at you are called *enemies.* The animation before they shoot is called the *warmup.*
>> The cone-shaped bullets are *arrows.* They collide with you only at their tip.
>> The diamond-shaped bullets are *homing bullets.* They collide with you only at their tip.
>> The circular bullets that "roll" across the arena are *bubbles.* Their actual hitboxes are slightly smaller than they are.
>> The plus-shaped bullets that "boomerang" back are *pluses*. Their actual hitboxes are slightly smaller than they are, but the hitbox is also a rotating plus.
>> The strange rectangular bullets in Outta Dodge are *ripple bullets.* Their actual hitboxes are slightly smaller than they are, but the hitbox changes shape as they stretch.
>> You already know what hugs are. But if their border is slightly thicker and they take time to fill, they're *big* hugs (even if they aren't larger themselves).
Thanks a lot for the info m8!
Also *big hugs*
there are quite a lot of bullet hell games which is awesome
I love this game so much. The only reason i started liking it a bit less lately is cuz of the shatter thing. Before there wasn't that whole health thing, you couldn't die, and it's very obvious with some custom levels that they were made during a time where there was only the score, no death. That and the fact that if you want a good, non-broken experience with SD+ custom levels, you need to play them in SD+, even tho it says that SD+ levels are compatible with SD2, but that's only a minor nitpick.
