I absolutely love your videos!! They're so well done. Extremely professional and is just like any other documentary you would see on TV. I wish your vids were longer though.
hi mate just out of curiosity have you ever been approached by TV channels or more mainstream media outlets to produce a documentary or travel series?
I hate to say this but half of the "security" were Taliban. The Taliban are heavily embedded in the ANA,ANP, and other small militias around Afghanistan. The only real way for outsiders to travel safely in Afghanistan is by traveling around with NATO forces, there are all kinds of problems that brings as well also! The guy with full beard and the PKM who was in the Afghan national police uniform was most likely a member of the Taliban! ( The Taliban run Afghanistan the president of Afghanistan has high ranking family members in the Taliban, that says everything)
that kid running after the unicef vehicle selling eggs just broke my heart. You can see in his eyes that he is struggeling, but you can also see hope. :(
yes, i watched that part a few times and the look in his face when he realized the vehicle wasn't going to stop
yes first the hope, than
disappointment. very sad
Didn't it though?!
It reminded me The Constant Gardener , the film. So sad...
So sad đ
The guy in the shop who barely has food immediately offers some when asked if itâs good... let that sink in. The world is not full of segregated factions, itâs full of people and life.
Exactly. Beautiful.
@Running lion You don't just run around the streets of Afghanistan handing out cash, that's just not how it works, nor does it solve their problems which are much more complex than you suggest. These people require love and overwhelming compassion, both powered by courage and strength, in order to vanquish the hatred and division like the kind you displayed. If these videos didn't open your eyes and reveal the message of love and solution to conflict than you just have too much hatred. Hatred is easy but love is hard for some people. Think about it, he put his life on the line to broadcast to the world *REAL LIFE* people living in Afghanistan. In return, you respond to the Soul touching images by berating him for not passing out cash. *IN THE VIDEO* the man says the message, the one at the end of the video where he says if one doesn't have enough, the community comes together and helps so that the community thrives together, because morale and keeping the extended family strong is very important to those who have almost nothing *BUT THEIR FAMILY* . This should be a much more popular philosophy for the world and people like you who seem to disregard it and spit on your fellow humans efforts in a false claim of compassion. Compassion isn't aggressive or insulting, its coming together and communicating with respect, kindness & love.
Some people might not ever understand that message, who either lack empathy and/or understanding with an abundance of pride and egotism, but you sure shouldn't damn yourself and all those around you because they didn't do as you demanded. Those people must have more depth to their thinking, or they will succumb to the dark combo of hatred and pride. And the people in this video have infinitely more love and understanding than someone who has the privilege of going online and berating a fellow human being while living in safety and security. Indigo Traveler is genuinely showing the world how these people live and struggle, so that we can understand and connect with them far beyond the kind of images and divisiveness we have in the media. The msm and people like you are constantly turning people against each other, while ppl like the Indigo Traveler try to show us the truth, as the people in the video try to teach us all that we should come together and thrive because we all want the same thing and we all bleed the same red blood.
Bless you *INDIGO TRAVELER*
With love and cheers, I thank you for spreading awareness and allowing me to witness what these people are going through by the hundreds of thousands if not millions. They have my heart and my thanks, w/ Truth Love & Virtue brother
@@IndigoTraveller .. Could you tell me the name of the song towards the begining of the video? When the kid is chasing the vehicle trying to sell eggs. That was a beautiful song choice for this amazing video! Thank you!
@Running lion you sound like you can go out and really do some Good to change the world. Take your feelings and use them to spread love, and mindfulness :) have a Happy day
This guy is traveling in an armed convoy, accompanied on foot by arm security, their are segregated factions in Afghanistan.
I also donât understand why there was surprise to see an American Flag, the US has been in Afghanistan for over 18 years at a cost of 2.5 Trillion Dollars!
Can you imagine living most if not your entire life in conflict and war, then yet still retain hope? that really shows how strong these people are.
And why they haven't been conquered
Well, Trump might be starting a new one with Iran so we can destroy our economy further and spend more American lives.

An Islamic society where Christianity exists in secret
Afghanistan is a tribal society, and loyalty to oneâs family, clan and tribe are extremely important. As an Islamic society, it is illegal for an Afghani person to leave Islam. The country is increasingly challenged by Islamic militants, the Taliban controls or contests more and more areas, and an ISIS-affiliated group also targets minorities. Those who decide to follow Jesus do so in secret.
How Christians are suffering
Those who are discovered to be Christians may be sent to a mental hospital-because their families believe no sane person would leave Islam. They may also be beaten or even killed by family members, or members of Islamic extremist groups like the Taliban. Violence against Christians remains very high, but the measures taken against converts depends on the family. One Christian in Afghanistan says, âHow we survive daily, only God knows. He knows because He has been kind to dwell with us. But we are tired of all the death around us.â

If only our country was the same it would be a much peaceful place.

How much more suffering đą these people deserve to live in peace.
Humans will never live in peace. Just like in the animal kingdom, we all fight for resources and power. We even have religions complicating things further.
New Zealanders have been lucky to live in peace since we were founded. Nick is a New Zealander filmmaking across the world to present it the way it is. We are proud of you Nick. This filming allows unification and different thinking. Well done.
We had our wars with the british.. we gave them a pretty good fight to.. 10 to 1 not bad i say.. new zealand natives love and cheerish their land and ocean..
thank you for these videos this is real truth TV that more people need to see you are a brave soul filming in some of those areas
I had Been thinking a lot about my homeland , Iâve never been there yet I wished to see and live there recently a lot more than before. These videos have been a great insight , thank you so much for them and for all that you do. And thank you to all the kind words I have seen in the comment section. It really brings tears to my eyes. Living in the west hasnât been easy for me, I was raised one way by my culture and family and saw a different one outside my house. Itâs like Iâve had many identities. Yet seeing videos like these and pictures of the beautiful children I can understand. Many hardships that my people go through. And I can only imagine living everyday in constant fear of being bombed. Itâs really weird how I think that feeling is somehow wired within me. Ever since I can remember I was afraid to be killed even here, even though Iâve never experienced such an environment , like they have experienced there. I guess itâs because growing up in the west afghanistan was always the center of attention in media, and I was always afraid to tell people where I was from. For many reasons. Now that Iâm close to thirty, I have no shame in telling others that Iâm Afghan or Muslim or any of that. And I know better now where my resilient heart comes from, I canât say Iâm strong because I do have many weak points. But I get by. Thank You God.
I've served in Afghanistan many times with the đŹđ§ Army. I love watching these Afghan videos as it brings back good and bad memories.
Nathan Kaye how was it there? Was the British army welcomed by the locals? Iâve heard some stories from Italian veterans in Afghanistan (Iâm from Italy) but Iâd like to see a British perspective about those times too.
I was thinking that there must be a few veterans who served in Afghanistan might be watching this.
Vittorio Piaser what did the Italians have to say about the locals? I am an Afghan just wondering.
Clemont Ludovic Iâm just telling you what I heard. Italian veterans said Afghans are hospitable, humble and that itâs just so sad and pitiful to see how Afghanistan has been thorn apart from war. about the negatives, they said they think Afghan attitude towards women is very laid back and that women are confined in their homes, treated as inferior to men and obligated to wear burqas or similar if they go out of their homes, also that they enjoy very little personal freedom if compared to Italy and the West. They also said that locals were not trusting them very much at the beginning, but then it got a bit better. Now I donât know is this is all true, Iâm trying to figure it out thanks to Nick and Drew Binskyâs videos, this is just what I heard from Italian veterans.
Proudly announcing ur bs did u do it for free or u just too some ordern in exchange for money idiot. Dont play as a Samaritan nobody wants or needs ur help

Nickâs editing skills makes his videos 100x better. The first part of the video when he puts some Afghan sound in the background, man thatâs some brilliant stuff that attracts you to his videos.
