denzel washington was in fantastic shape, to do this at 44 years old, he looks like he had the body of a 25 year old
It’s the trainers that train the actors
@@bkmusic1532 they didn't lift dem heavy ass weights for him nor did they do shiat load of cardio for him 😅
The body of a taut preteen sweedish boy
Denzel always did look ageless till he was late 50s
no wonder joey giardello took the film to court watch the real footage JG only has a small cut rightly so he won the case and settled for a hugh amount of money for disabled kids like his own son JG what a man RIP The fight with fullmer was a real dirty one with gene using his head to open cuts above joey's eye he never gave giardello the rematch nowing how lucky he was to keep his title
Wow the movie version of joey giardello vs carter was so biased.
well at the start it did say that not all action and incidents will be 100% correct, but him losing this fight is not the point, it’s the point that he was falsely imprisoned for over 20 years, for being black and for a murder he didn’t commit
@@anonymous-ns1xd That is true. I just wish they hadn't portrayed the fight this way.
Dimitreze, just great work!! It's amazing what people can produce and present here.
thanks!
Giardello was one of the best middleweights boxer of this time. He won clearly the championship against Carter.
@ I think it's just for entertainment, it's more entertaining when there's more controversy. I'm sure they did their research they knew how it all went down, they chose to portray it like this for the story.
From what I've read even Rubin Carter admits that Joey won that fight.
@@kevinelliott7244 yeah because jewllywood needed an unfair fight against the aeternal victim(blacks ofcoures) even if carter lost fair and square, well for giardello that won 75k for sueing the producers.

@@anonymous-ns1xd still wasn't necessary to stain giardellos image like that. but who cares. he is white.
This is a great idea you stumbled upon. Keep making videos dude. I wish you the best.
Thank you! Much appreciated! :)
Someone SHOULD reach out to Referee/Boxing Historian/and Sparring partner Ron Lipton. He's a wealth of knowledge. Lipton is inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in NY, too.
So y’all more upset about the misrepresentation of a fight and not a black man being wrongfully accused of multiple murders he had nothing to do with...
fr that’s exactly what i’m saying, everyone talking about how the fight wasn’t 100% accurate but they don’t wanna talk about a innocent black man being falsely imprisoned for over 20 years
@@anonymous-ns1xd
Why? because what happened to Carter had nothing to do with Giardello, so why misrepresent the outcome of the fight being racially motivated and shit all over Joey's reputation? Another thing they did was say it was always the same cop who hemmed him up - it wasn't. I don't know if he did it or not, I wasn't there and neither were you, but why misrepresent actual facts about things not related to his case to boost an assumption? that's why Giardello sued and won a settlement.
Like 2 completely different fights.
A really unfair portrayal of Joey Giardello.
Can you please do scene comparisons from the Lifetime TV movie that came out in January called a tale of two coreys? I would love to see scene comparisons from that
cool! I will make it soon ;)
dimitreze yay! Thank you so much!! :)
Thanks! :)

Rubin Carter was the original Marvin Hagler of the Middleweight division.
@scarface 35
Right on! Also,Joey didn't have all these stipulations like a larger ring so he could throw some flurries and get on his bicycle like The Challenger sugar ray did to Hagler. That Con Job was Disgraceful.....
carter fue un mediocre boxeador (12 derrotas)hagler fue un monstruo no hay comparacion posible...
The movie is just as full of B.S. as the Bob Dylan song. I watched the Giardello fight, and it very close. In those days at least, you had to either K.O. or clearly dominate a champion to win the title. Carter did neither.
Could you do a ‘scene comparisons’ Episode with ‘Missing Milo’ and ‘Fungus Among Us’ from ‘Milo Murphy’s Law’?
I got 2 strikes from videos about cartoons a couple days ago. I don't think I will mess with that for a while. Thanks for the request though! ;)
dimitreze I understand what ur doing through! CZcams is slowly becoming the complete opposite to the name, You-Tube. It’s meant to be about people’s own content but some users took this too far and now copyrighting is a thing :’(
yeah, that's too bad :/
