John‘s 1978 Chevrolet Corvette pace car.

This is one of the official Indy 500 pace car editions of the 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. This car has been well cared for during the entire time that John has owned it. The odometer shows us it has just barely over 10,000 miles. The original wheels and tires John has in his garage. The ones that are on the car now or a replacement set. John didn’t want to drive the car on the decades old original set, so he put them away.
Time now to find the next caretaker. The car is going to be up on the Hemmings auction website soon. We have to get all of the write up in history and follow the listing procedure that Hemmings requires and then it should be ready to go.
