I am a Car-Guy and am lucky enough to be able to be involved with these great old cars. I have been working on and restoring cars for nearly 50 years. Actually was doing car stuff before I was old enough to have a driver license. Just ask some of the retired Police Officers around here! They all knew me one way or the other! HA! I either kept their cars and motorcycles running or they were out watching to see if I was out road testing.. I am still at it!
2000 Cadillac Eldorado ETC low mile excellent condition inspection and road test
Very well babied Eldorado coupe. Look close at this one! Less than 20,000 miles since new! Never smoked in, always parked inside. I’m selling this for a long time friend and car guy. Time for him to sell some treasures. I have seen nice examples sell for more money, but this one can go to a new caretaker for less than 15K. I will list it on Bring A Trailer

Yes, my full video is a little bit older than some people like and I’ve been asked for an updated video of the Chevy. I just did this quick walk around so you could see it is still exactly the same car as it was when I did the last complete video. The odometer reading is almost the same as well. It’s only been driven on the property and not on the road since my first video.

Yes, you could order your new 1940 Cadillac with a custom body designed and installed by an aftermarket provider. This Cadillac Towncar was ordered by a prominent Ohio businessman and is said to be the last Brunn Towncar built. This car is out here on the west coast to participate in the classic car club caravan, along with several other classics from owner/members coming in from far and near.

I took my driver test in my Mom's MGA! Not this one, but one just like it! This one is a very nice car. Someone did a great restoration on it. Great restoration. But the inner door panel miss the (original) stitches.The engine bay looks a bit odd....
Did you notice it is not a restoration, but it is a "Resto-Rod" with a Chevy under hood? NOTHING was changed that could not be undone if it was going back to 100% original.
@@rodneyracer That is true for the engine. It may not be true for the inner door panels. Unless the originals would come with the car to make correct patterns. These panels have stitched lines... I know when I see an original, they are very distinct.
@@fastdrive55 DANG! Wording is difficult. If wording "done in the original style" doesn't work, then we also must consider the actual color is not exact to the original formula, the convertible top is not "correct" wiring being modern and not cloth covered is not correct, on and on.. No, this is not an authentic restored original Olds.. I never said it was, but it does stick to original style.

Surprised to see what I thought was a OHV motor. I thought the first OHV motors were in the 1949 Cadillac. I assume the V16 was OHV, as well. Indeed impressive.

Back in the 50's our Dad although a wonderful father was ultra conservative and totally risk averse...cant blame him he had a growing family and had survived WWII....Long time family friend George had a "53"...2dr Hardtop...cream and green. He took us boys out for occassionally for a spin...the big Merc would hit 100mph on the Sweabury Road..huge deal for couple of country boys under 10 ! He also taught to shoot a rifle and took us fishing. It was the best time to grow up. Miss yah George.
