- Rubio from the very first time he stepped on an NBA court had the Timberwolves franchise hopeful for the future. Paired with Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic he was dishing out assists like we had never seen from a point guard in a Wolves jersey.
Unfortunately, Rubio's time in Minnesota will always be synonymous with no playoff appearances and the tragic passing of Curry in the NBA draft. Regardless he provided the Wolves with a fantastic floor general but was just never able to produce consistently as a shooter.

An underrated PG for sure and he's also one of those players that play better than what their stats say. Sadly he played for bad teams for the majority of his career
Love, Pek and Rubio gave it a red hot crack but sometimes the inability to shoot the 3 can be the nail in the coffin for a guard.

Man he’s the reason I started loving Minnesota glad to see them doing good now I feel Rubio talent was wasted alot
@@pourdakoolaid it was... the thing is great playmakers need to have guys beside them that they can shine alongside with aside from K Love there isnt anyone on the team that can put up points consistently.. when he got to Utah, Phoenix and Cleveland he finally had a whole bunch of teammates that he can bring the best of thats why he had his best years with those teams..
