Hadn't taken my ‪@NiSiFilters‬ Close up lens out for a while, so I thought id do some fun testing on the amazing textures and colours of the Pilbara rocks.
This great option for entry into the Macro world of Photography , does a great job. At about $240 aud and 300 grams weight fro the small kit. For those wanting to dabble in the macro world def a great option.
Focus is 22-30cm , and suited to lenses 70-300mm with the 77mm option a 1:1 ratio at 200mm .
I find its super handy with the RF 100-400 entry level telephoto lens as I can also use the R6 focus braking software.
*In hindsight after editing the shots I think I needed to allow more shots fro the camera to get the full focus range. As the 40 and 60 shots version wasn't enough. with macro maybe push out to 100 + shots to give the camera a chance. I did use the Jpeg shot to edit that R6 provides but you also get the raw shot series as well so obviously if doing more be aware of card size !
